We  go on to Castle Ward which was featured in the TV series "Game of Thrones, We then visit the Titanic museum. We take some time exploring Belfast before going to our accommodation which is North of Belfast. Dobbins Inn is a quaint little hotel in Carrickfergus just opposite the famous Carrickfergus castle.  

We go North today visiting  the Dark Hedges first, then the Giants Causeway. This is a very unique place that has many myths and legends attached to it. Many of them mention Finn McCool who was a giant who tried to build a bridge to Scotland to kill the giant over there, but science tells us that there are 40 thousand Basalt rocks there. You can make your own mind up about it all. We will then stop for lunch on the way to Bushmills Distillery where you will learn how that famous whiskey is made. We will then make our way to the next hotel for the night.

We head to the stunning Sliabh Leag today. These are regarded as the highest cliffs in Europe and are Donegals version of the Cliffs of Moher. The scenery on the way there and while there is breathtaking. There is a lovely cliff walk there and a viewing platform where you can take it all in. We then go towards Sligo and on the way we take in Mullaghmore Coastal drive where we stop to take photo's, and then give you a totally different type of scenery by driving around the back of the majestic mountain of Benbulben in Co Sligo before we take you to a historical and stunning beach for a nice walk before you have your evening meal in the hotel we will be staying in for 3 nights (Cawleys)

Today we visit Parkes Castle and then takes a beautiful scenic drive around Lough Gill, then we go to a very special place.....the Holy Well. You get to go to Sligo town to have lunch and spend a little time there before we go to Strandhill where you will see the Carrowmore megalithic cemetery. 

For those who want to attend mass there is no better place than in Knock Basilica which is a place of pilgrimage. An apparition of Our Lady in 1879 to some local children became known around the world and now people from all around the world come here. We then take you to Spiddal Craft village where you can stroll in and out of these little craft shops and workshops where you will see jewelry, weaving, knitting, glass cutting, instrument making and baking done. But you will also hear these people work through the medium of the Irish Language. 

Then we go to Galway city with its cobbled stoned, music filled streets. Great little craft shops, a great museum, art galleries and great night life. 

We take a scenic drive around to a place called Arigna Co Leitrim today, to see the mines. These mines were a working mine up until about 30 years ago. So the people of the are area lost a major place of work when the mines shut down. They got together and decided to open the mines up as a tourist attraction.

The have a great tour there where you learn how the people worked the mines and you get to meet a man who worked there. he is a great guide and explains what life was like at that time.

You then go to Lough Key Forest park. Just a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the peace and quite, and look at the magical bridges, and Islands with wishing chairs. 

We make our way to Clare today, taking in Kinvalla Castle on the way. We then visit the famous Cliffs of Moher. There is a great heritage center and craft shop there also to enjoy, and a great restaurant there also if you are feeling peckish. We then make our way to the world renowned Bunratty Castle and Folk park. You get a great tour of the castle with their tour guide and then you can take some time to go around the folk park popping in and out of the houses there to learn all about how the Irish lived long ago. There is also a gift shop there.

We leave to return to Dublin today. On our way we visit the iconic Rock of Cashel which is a historic significance, possesses the most impressive cluster of medieval buildings in Ireland. Originally the sea of he Kings of Munster, according to legend St Patrick himself came here to convert King Aenghus to Christianity. Brian Boru was crowned High King at Cashel in 978 and made it his capital.

We then go to Kilkenny Castle. Few buildings in Ireland can boast a longer history of continuous occupation than this castle. Founded soon after the Norman conquest of Ireland , the castle has been rebuilt, extended and adapted o suit changing circumstances and uses over the period of 800 years. It is surrounded by beautiful parklands, and the town is a quaint town with cobbled, narrow streets and lovely small craft shops.

We then make our way to Fitzpatrick's Castle in South Dublin to relax, have a meal and have a chat about our tour.
