Cooking Class

The class begins with a visit to a local market. Along with a local host, you will taste native fruits, vegetables, and street food of the area. Later, you’ll head to our local chef’s workshop for a fun private cooking class.

The Pisco Route 

Barranco, also known as the bohemian district, is Lima's heart of art and culture. It is home to the most prominent art galleries, cultural bars, and live music shows. 

In this experience filled with engaging stories and exceptional bartenders, you will explore a range of bars, from those in boutique hotels to classic craft beer shops and even the most traditional bars in old manors dating back to the XIX century. Our local host will take you to their favorite spots, where you will learn to make a lineup of cocktails with our emblematic pisco: pisco sour, macerated pisco, and signature drinks.

Nikkei Dinner

In Peru, Nikkei is a Japanese term used to convey Peruvian and Japanese fusion. Elate your taste buds with the unpredictable flavors of this cuisine, at one of Latin America’s finest restaurants, in an atmosphere that successfully captures the essence of both cultures.

Historic Center Visit + Lunch

You will visit a beautiful Franciscan Monastery and a colonial house dating back to

the mid-16th century. By doing so, you’ll get a feel of the lifestyle at the time of the

founding of the city. You will get to know the city's Main Square and walk through one

of the busiest commercial streets in downtown Lima, Jirón de la Unión, towards Plaza San Martín.

Creole lunch

For lunch, we will stay in the downtown area, in an up-and-coming restaurant located in a renovated stately manor. True to the setting, the food served here comes from traditional creole recipes spruced up and brought up to modern trends.

Free afternoon

You will have some free time to explore Lima on your own.

Street food experience at Miraflores & Barranco

Want to see and taste the modern side of our city? With a population of nearly 10 million people, Lima is a cosmopolitan metropolis, the only South American capital that has been privileged with a seaside view. Besides having some of the most awarded restaurants worldwide, Lima offers incredible street food locals and visitors enjoy daily.   

The ample piers and modern architecture of Miraflores are a love letter to the ocean, and its “butifarras” and “churros” are one for our bellies. Then we’ll head to Barranco, the bohemian heart of Lima. This district is home to the most prominent art galleries, cultural bars, and live music shows. Its neighborhoods—facing the Pacific Ocean—preserve the enticing allure of architecture dating back to the late XIX century towards the early XX century. Your local host will guide you around the main square, the pier, and its awe-inspiring view, across the famous Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs), craft shops, and other worthwhile visits. Here you’ll taste our traditional “ anticuchos” and a cup Peruvian specialty coffee, among other treats.

The Ceviche Route

Explore the varieties of Peruvian ceviche on a tour across its compelling history and evolution. Ranging from the most traditional recipes to more experimental approaches. Whether prepared on the fly at a local market or a huarique, or plated and garnished at an award-winning restaurant, you'll realize that every ceviche has an allure of its own.

Start this culinary adventure at a creole food tavern to taste its traditional ceviche served with octopus chicharron on the side. Then, at a local cevichería, you will try "modern" ceviche, served with avocado and capers. Finally, relish an Amazonian ceviche at a famous restaurant listed among the World's 50 Best Restaurants. 

Larco Museum visit

Come upon the impressive collection of the Larco Museum—that, since 1926—lives inside a viceregal hacienda that dates back to the XVIII century. The museum covers five-thousand years of Peruvian history: from the beginning of Andean civilization to Incan times. Understand the cosmovision and philosophy of ancient Peruvians through these invaluable art pieces.

Dinner at Mayta

Mayta -"noble land" in Aymara- is the name of Chef Jaime Pesaque’s staple restaurant, listed among the 50 Best Restaurants in the World. Mayta offers an authentic encounter with the lore of Peruvian gastronomy while achieving an innovative personal approach. 

Airport transfer and flight to Cusco

Upon arrival at the city of Cusco, your private transportation will take you directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to avoid altitude sickness.

Lunch at local maize farm and hacienda

A unique experience to start your days at the Sacred Valley on a high note. Maria del Pilar and Joseph, third-generation giant white corn producers, will welcome you to their beautiful colonial hacienda. With them as guides, you will live a unique experience on a working farm. You will learn first-hand about the exclusive giant white corn of the Sacred Valley (the only one in the world with a protected designation of origin!),

its production, and life at the hacienda. The hosts will also spoil you with a corn-based lunch based and other local ingredients.

Pisac ruins & market

You’ll continue the day visiting the town and ruins of Pisac. Perched above the valley, Pisac is one of the largest archaeological complexes in the area and showcases the Inca's incredible architectural skill. In the town at the bottom of the same hill, a colorful crafts market will offer great photo and crafts shopping opportunities.

After a hearty breakfast, you will start the long-awaited excursion to Machu Picchu. A train ride of an hour and a half, and then half an hour by bus will lead you to the citadel for a guided tour that, on average, takes three hours. We will take in the amazing views and learn about Andean life, traveling back in time.

In the afternoon, you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch and then take the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, your private transport will take you to your hotel in Cusco

Maras and Moray

In the company of your private tour guide, visit the mind-boggling circular terraces of Moray, built for agricultural experimentation. This brilliant work of Inca engineering was designed to create a series of microclimates in reduced spaces. Afterward, you will head to the Maras salt flats, where hundreds of saltwater ponds will eventually evaporate to sift only the crystallized salt: a phenomenon that has taken place for over 500 years. To this day, local families continue to extract and sell this salt. It's a breathtaking experience!

Oca Wine and Andean Potato Tasting with lunch

You will get to know the work of a brilliant agricultural engineer. Manuel Choqque, belonging to a family of local farmers, decided to transform his tubers into the new stars of Peruvian gastronomy and devised ways to enhance the oca (tuber rich in antioxidants and natural sugar) and turn it into a drink you will love. You will have the opportunity to taste these wines and try delicious potatoes in a homemade lunch shared with Manuel.

Walking city tour and market visit

The tour begins with a visit to the gastronomic heart of Cusco, San Pedro Market. You will learn about and taste incredible Andean products such as tamales, local fruits, cheeses, and bread. You will continue strolling through the city, experiencing it as if you were a local. You’ll visit the main sites such as the Cathedral, the Plaza de Armas, Koricancha temple and San Blas neighborhood.

Lunch at Picantería

You will enjoy lunch at a delicious Picantería in Cusco. Here you will be served diverse plates of our renowned Peruvian cuisine. 

Sacsayhuaman

After lunch, you will explore this beautiful Inca megalithic temple accompanied by your private guide.

Dinner in Cicciolina

The last meal in Cusco will be at a renowned cosmopolitan restaurant that

offers innovative dishes based on Andean tradition.

Today, you will have some free time in Cusco city to wander the streets, hit the museums, or just do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.  Alpaca wool goods or artisanal chocolate are always good options to bring back home!

in the afternoon, we will head to the airport for our flight back to Lima.
