If Practical Magic wasn't just a movie you loved, but a glimpse into a life of magic, ritual, creativity, and connection that you've always wanted to explore, welcome to Cinder Witch Camp.
Cinder Witch Camp is a four-day, three-night gathering at Jenne Farm in Coupeville, on Whidbey Island. The island is truly magical, and the community is fantastic.
Think summer camp meets witch school, created for grown women who are curious about the practices, want to learn more, and would rather experience them than just read about them. We will make things with our hands, learn about practices and be able to ask questions, leaving knowing how to keep exploring it at home.
Led by Carrie of The Cinder Circle and guest instructors, our days will include workshops and presentations exploring topics such as plant identification, tarot, crystals, candle magic, broom craft, ancestor work, and more. We'll learn the why behind each practice, try it with our own hands, and talk about how to fold it into ordinary life: a morning ritual that takes five minutes, a way to set an intention you can actually keep, a tea for the night you can't sleep.
Every class or hands-on activity you complete earns you a Cinder Path pin for your camp hat. Start building your collection at this camp, then keep adding to it at future Cinder Witch Camps and Cinder Circle events. Your hat becomes a record of the things you've learned, made, and explored along the way.
In between workshops, we'll walk the land, spend time in nature, share long meals at the table, and make space for conversation, laughter, curiosity, and a little everyday magic.
Groups are limited to seven women, so there's room to ask questions, get your hands dirty, and be known. You'll go home with crafts you made, skills you can use tomorrow, a hat that tells the beginning of your Cinder Path, and a few new friends who see you.
This is for the beginner who has always been curious and never knew where to start, and for the longtime practitioner who wants a community to learn alongside. No experience needed. You don't need to know what kind of witch you are. You don't need a particular spiritual practice. You don't need to have it all figured out.
Come curious. Learn something new. Make something with your hands. Follow your Cinder Path.

Community has always been what holds me together. As someone who has navigated the weight of a full life - demanding career, single parenthood, the constant pull of doing and achieving , I know firsthand how rarely we give ourselves permission to simply be.
When I moved to Whidbey Island, I felt something I hadn't expected: a resounding sigh of relief. The island slowed me down and brought me back to myself, and I've spent the years since learning how to create that feeling intentionally through ritual, creative work, and gathering women together in spaces that feel genuinely safe and a little magical.
My purpose as a host is simple; to create a space where you can put the weight of life down, remember who you are, and find others to support and celebrate you. Every retreat I design is built around that intention. My goal is that you leave with a renewed sense of self, new friendships that feel like they were always meant to be, and magic you can carry back into your everyday life.
