Sole Yoga Holidays is so excited for our first Sea + City Luxury Yoga + Wellness Escape in Lisbon and Sagres, Portugal! Lisbon has recently been written up in international travel magazines as one of the best places to visit in Europe. Between the stunning facades of the colorful buildings, the views of the water, the rolling hills and incredible culinary delights, it is no wonder this was on top of our list for our next location! Plus, we couldn't resist adding in a 2nd location in Sagres, a dramatic cliffside village high above the sea in magnificent Algarve.
We are so thrilled for this special combination of two very different sides of Portugal. And in combination with a daily yoga and wellness practice in various locations, we think this will be one unforgettable yoga vacation!
We first will head to the gorgeous town of Sagres via private transfer. It is here after many us have had long travels, this will be an incredible location to connect, unwind, practice yoga outdoors surrounded by fresh sea breezes.
Our 4-star location is characterized by its relaxing, contemporary atmosphere of design with views of the sea and famous Baleeira harbor. The hotel's facilities include a restaurant, bar, lounge, pools and spa treatments. Plus, for those more adventurous (like you host Shari of Sole Yoga Holidays!) we can take surfing or windsurfing lessons. Plus, diving is also an option.
Situated in Costa Vicentina Natural Park, the hotel is surrounded by stunning deserted beaches and the wild nature of an unforgettable beauty.
Then, via private transfer we will return to Lisbon for the city experience of our special retreat!
Our city location for 3 nights takes place in the heart of Lisbon, Alfama - steps away from the Cathedral and the São Jorge Castle and considered one of the first boutique hotels in the city's historic area, with it’s narrow streets, traditional shops and the famous Fado restaurants.
We will experience 2 fantastic, customized tours and daily vinyasa yoga in a special location. With all of the walking up and down the hills we can also reward ourselves with Pastel de Nata, Portugal's famous custard tart.
