Your journey begins with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where local drinks and light snacks accompany breathtaking views. Explore Victoria Falls from both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides before enjoying lunch at the Lookout Café, perched high above the Batoka Gorge.

Cross into Botswana for a full-day safari in Chobe National Park, featuring a boat cruise on the Chobe River, a game drive, and a bush lunch among some of Africa’s most famous wildlife. Back in Zambia, enjoy a game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and a short guided walk to see endangered white rhinos.

Round out your adventure with a visit to the Wayi Wayi Art & Cultural Centre, where local artists and traditional ceremonies offer a deep connection to Zambian heritage. Overlooking the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge offers one of Livingstone’s most relaxed and scenic stays. Guests enjoy the comfort of Riverside Rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and private verandas that open onto lush river views.

The lodge’s thatched restaurant and bar sit right on the riverbank, creating the perfect place to unwind with a cold drink as hippos call in the distance. Travel/Health Insurance

Travel and health insurance are not included. Clients must arrange their own coverage to protect against medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and other unexpected situations.

Gratuities

Tipping is customary for guides, hosts, and lodge staff. We suggest budgeting about 10–15% of the trip cost for guides and hosts. Small tips for lodge staff are appreciated but never required.

Travelers are responsible for securing any necessary visas before arrival.

Day 1

Arrival & Sunset on the Zambezi River

Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport (LVI), you will be warmly welcomed by your tour host and transferred to Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge, where you will spend the next four nights in comfortable accommodations.

Take some time to settle in, relax, and freshen up after your journey. Later, begin your Livingstone adventure with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Drift along one of Africa’s most iconic rivers as the sun paints the sky in shades of gold and crimson. Enjoy light snacks and local drinks on board while spotting wildlife along the riverbanks.

Day 2

Victoria Falls Adventure

After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will meet you at reception for a road transfer to Victoria Falls, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders. Explore both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides, witnessing the sheer power and beauty of the cascading waters while learning about the history, flora, and fauna from your knowledgeable guide.

Following the tour, you may wish to enjoy lunch at the Lookout Café, a unique restaurant perched above the Batoka Gorge, where dramatic views accompany a delicious meal (not included in the package).

Afterwards, your guide will transfer you back to Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge, giving you the afternoon to relax, stroll around the lodge, or explore the local area at your leisure.

Day 3

Full-Day Chobe National Park Safari (Botswana)

Today begins with an early start. Your driver will collect you from the lodge reception for a full-day adventure to Chobe National Park in Botswana.

The excursion includes a boat cruise along the Chobe River, where you can spot elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife in their natural habitat. Following the cruise, enjoy a bush lunch amid the park’s stunning landscapes before embarking on an exciting game drive, offering further opportunities to see some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife.

Please remember to bring your passport, as it is required for the border crossing into Botswana.

After a day filled with wildlife encounters and unforgettable scenery, you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge, arriving around 6:00 p.m.

Wildlife & Cultural Immersion

After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will collect you from reception for a morning game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Experience the park’s diverse wildlife, and follow it with a short guided walk to observe the endangered white rhino, an unforgettable encounter with one of Africa’s most majestic creatures.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Zambian culture with a visit to the Wayi Wayi Art & Cultural Centre in Livingstone. This creative hub celebrates Zambia’s heritage through vibrant artwork and insightful exhibitions. One of the highlights is a live reenactment of traditional Imbusa ceremonies, offering a rare and meaningful glimpse into the rituals that mark the transition to womanhood.

This experience is more than an art tour. It is a celebration of life, community, and culture, leaving you with a deeper appreciation of Zambia’s rich traditions. After the visit, return to Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge to relax and enjoy dinner at leisure.

Departure

After breakfast, check out of Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge. A driver will transfer you to Livingstone Airport (LVI)for your onward flight.
