Specialists recommend that everyone takes time out for a 5-day cleanse once or twice per year. The best times of the year to cleanse are spring and autumn.
Clean your body in the beautiful surroundings of Zahora and return home with new energy and a clear mind!
During this retreat, you will receive an organic plant based menu, nutritionally dense and artfully prepared that will fuel your body and delight your senses. You will benefit from a specially designed menu with cleansing food, healthy snacks, organic raw juices and smoothies.
Natural cleansing foods are a delicious and a healthy option to detox your body, reduce stress, lose weight, put a glow back on your skin and return to a happier, healthier, more confident you.
Stress, inactivity, poor diet and many other challenges of modern life often result in the accumulation of toxins. It is essential to break the cycle of dependence on saturated fats, refined carbohydrates, processed foods and general excess. In addition to breaking the cycle of craving food that undermines your health, in just five days a cleanse food programme can do so much for your body and mind!
Our experienced detox team will do the cleanse with you and will guide you with love and sensitivity through the cleanse food process, keeping you fully informed and taking care of you from beginning to end. Our groups are small, 12 participants, which allows personalized guide and instruction.
Every day you will benefit from three yoga classes from Monday to Thursday (Pranayama class, gentle Hatha class in the morning and Restorative/Yin yoga classes in the early evening). On Friday morning you will have Pranayama class and gentle Hatha class. All the classes are specially designed to support the elimination of toxins and to help you to feel deeply relaxed.
Every day from Monday to Thursday you will benefit from two meditation classes. At CASARA WAY (Wellness And Yoga) we offer a variety of meditation classes designed to help students become more mindful, connected and self-aware. They are aimed at both beginners and experienced students. We will explore informal and formal mindfulness practices focusing on the breath, thoughts and emotions, meditations of loving kindness and self-compassion, as well as other practices designed to deepen your connection to your body, breath and heart. The classes are designed to increase awareness, ultimately strengthening the relationship we have with ourselves and with others.
For your five-day cleansing retreat you will benefit from a specially designed menu of organic raw juices and smoothies, cleansing food, healthy snacks (Carrot Cleanser, Sweet Beet, Alkaline Boost, Ginger Zinger…) and detox water (Lemon Ginger Detox Water , Blackberry and Orange Detox Water , Lemon and Mint Detox Water, Apple and Cinnamon Water, etc.).
We only use organic fruit and vegetables, so our guests will not ingest the pesticides, herbicides and antibiotic residues that the body is trying to clear out.
Our five rural cottages lie nestled between trees just 50 metres from the beach. You will have private access to the Zahora beach along a short track that passes by beautiful horses and the odd chicken and turkey.
This rustic and wild beach does not usually fill up with tourists and is one of the last surviving pieces of secret Spain.
CASARA WAY has a wonderfully calm and friendly atmosphere with a total of five tastefully decorated and self-contained cottages.
In the shared spaces of our beautiful garden you can soak up the atmosphere and go home feeling totally rejuvenated.
Wherever you stay, you will be able to stroll through the gardens, walk along Zahora beach, hear the roaring waves of the Atlantic Ocean or just listen to the birds singing from your room.
Inviting outdoor areas provide everything you need for chilling out (loungers, deck chairs, hammocks) and making yourself feel completely at home.
Private or shared rooms with bathroom and shower are available in the cottages.
The cottages are chic and stylish and have all the amenities required to make your stay comfortable and memorable: international TV channels, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee-maker, kettle, toaster, juicer, blender, washing machine, iron, and alarm clock.
Whether you are a single traveller, a couple, friends, or a larger group, CASARA WAY has a place for you.
CASARA WAY (Wellness And Yoga) is located in an idyllic enclave with stunning views of the majestic waters of the Atlantic Ocean and of Cape Trafalgar, where in 1805 the Royal Navy of Great Britain under the command of Admiral Nelson defeated the combined Spanish and French fleets, changing the course of history in the Napoleonic Wars.
Zahora Beach is 3,000 metres long and 40 metres wide. With its fine gold sand, crystal-clear blue waters and 300 days of sunlight per year, the beach is an earthly paradise that seems like a glimpse of heaven.
Besides the wonderful sunsets, the most spectacular aspect of the beach is the huge reef that shows at low tide and the enormous lagoon that appears when the water is shallow. The colourful sunsets and the scenery make for some of the most breathtaking sights in all of southern Spain.
Nearby guests can visit the La Breña y Marismas del Barbate Natural Park, a huge coastal reserve that is a popular area for equestrian, cycling and water sports. The shore is lined by towering cliffs, home to teeming colonies of herring gulls and egrets.
Ancient watchtowers from the 17th and 18th centuries (Torre del Tajo and Torre de Meca) stand on the cliffs overlooking the sea, where local fishermen use the traditional almadraba technique to catch tuna fish.
Thick stands of stone pine provide shade for a stunning variety of Mediterranean wildflowers.
The area is protected because of the precious ecosystem of the rocks and the rich variety of the offshore marine life. This is one of the most ecologically diverse and best-preserved parts of the entire Andalusian coast.
