For 2024, the CMBSC has decided to try something new! You are cordially invited to join the CMBSC for the Winter Board RETREAT AT SEA, where we will fuse our meetings of planning and preparation with wonderful moments of refreshing and relaxation. We will fellowship and worship. We will enjoy and rest. We will assemble and we will adventure. We will meet and retreat!! Join us January 29 through February 2, 2024! Reserve your space today!

An initial deposit of $25 is due at time of reservation. Full per person deposit of $150 may be required for other occupancy or category.

For your convenience, the remaining balance will be due as per the payment plan shown on reservation selection. You will receive an email with a link to pay when a payment is due.

All pricing is per person and based on double occupancy (2 passengers in 1 stateroom). Additional categories of staterooms (suites) and occupancy rates (single, triple, quad) are available upon request.  Please call 877-402-9732 for current rates. Ask for Dena.

Payments can be made via credit card or eCheck.

All remaining balances must be paid by October 30, 2023.

Passports

It is recommended that everyone taking a cruise from the United States have a passport book.  U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as an Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL), a government-issued birth certificate (issued by the Vital Records Department in the state where  he or she was born) or passport.  Though some ”closed-loop” cruises (meaning your trip begins and ends at a U.S. port) may not require a U.S. passport, we recommend bringing yours in case of an emergency, such as an unexpected medical air evacuation or the ship docking at an alternate port.

Insurance

We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive international travel insurance that has both cruise and COVID coverage. Certain ports of call may impose a requirement that you hold travel insurance...

Transfers

There's no need to start your vacation with stress. Get your airport-to-ship transportation taken care of with worry-free transfer service from Carnival. You'll also gain access to the cruise terminal as soon as the transfer gets you there, regardless of your arrival appointment time — a small thing that's surprisingly nice on embarkation day! And after the cruise, of course we'll get you to the airport in time for your return flight.

LOS ANGELES TRANSFERS

Carnival Cruise Line offers transportation between Los Angeles International Airport or Long Beach Airport to Port of Long Beach on the day of embarkation or debarkation only. Guests may purchase transportation up to two days prior to their sail date.

TRANSPORTATION COST

Los Angeles International Airport and Port of Long Beach: – $34.99 per person each way*
Long Beach Airport to Port and Long Beach: – $31.99 per person each way*

NOTE: Guests who purchase their own air tickets and are using Carnival's Airport Transportation are required to provide flight information via Online Check-In no later than two days prior to their cruise date. The airport is staffed based on known flight information. Once all known flights are met, the staff is released and service is no longer available.  Changes to flight details are the responsibility of the guest and must be re-entered into Online Check-In no later than two days prior to their cruise. Carnival is not responsible for providing transportation to guests who schedule flights outside of the service times listed above or provide incorrect flight information.

Please ensure your flight arrives no later than 12:30pm.  Return flights should depart no earlier than 12:00 pm

Parking

To park in the cruise line’s parking structure, the cost is $23 per day. For oversize vehicles and those needing extra parking space, it is advised to call 562-901-323.

Day 1: LA (Long Beach)

Day 1: LA (Long Beach) image

Embarkation

When we talk about cruising from Los Angeles, fyi: we’re talking about cruises from Long Beach. A short drive from LA is where you’ll find this seaside Southern California city that’s inseparable from its big-city neighbor, while undeniably moving to its own local beat. Dotted with dozens of parks, beaches and multiple public golf courses (fore times five!), Long Beach also boasts perhaps the world’s most unique hotel — located aboard the old-time ocean liner The Queen Mary (which is haunted, or so go the rumors). You can experience it before one of Carnival’s cruises from Long Beach, but definitely don’t miss the glitzy, big-city Los Angeles — the right place to experience the left-coast life. Take in the storied sights of this City of Angels, from its modern museums and high-end shopping to its funky seaside towns and star-studded SoCal sights dotting the hills and boulevards. Hollywood — hooray! So if you’re dreaming about a cruise from Los Angeles, remember: Carnival’s cruises from Long Beach are just the ticket.

  • Climb aboard the Queen Mary, a glamorous 1930s ocean liner.
  • Find your favorite star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
  • Stroll through the art and antiquities of the Getty Center®.
  • Take the backlot tour of Universal Studios™ for a look at Hollywood mythmaking.
  • Gaze into the starry night sky through the Griffith Observatory's® giant telescope.

Day 2:

Day 2: image

Catalina Island

Discover a sunny Southern California playground hidden beyond the Los Angeles horizon, on a Carnival cruise to Catalina Island. Just 22 miles from the mainland, Catalina Island has long been a getaway for savvy city hikers, sun-seekers… and film crews looking for a slice of accessible paradise. Access the breathtaking views from up high on the island’s rugged cliffs, or way down low as you snorkel or scuba the Pacific Ocean waters at Avalon Beach. Cruises to Catalina Island give you a rare opportunity to see California as it once was — from the seaside town of Avalon and tiny Two Harbors, to the undeveloped parkland of Catalina’s interior.

  • While the time away with wild buffalo, on Catalina Island’s interior roads.
  • Snorkel through thick kelp forests at Casino Point Marine Park.
  • Glide into protected coves and hidden beaches by kayak.

Day 3:

Ensenada, Mexico

Thanks to its stunning coastline, Ensenada will give you plenty of postcard-worthy moments…, and it couldn’t be easier to get there. Escape to Mexico’s original seaside getaway with Carnival cruises to Ensenada. Once a favorite hideaway for high-rolling Hollywood stars, Ensenada is now one of Mexico’s most popular ports of call. You can sightsee, shop or kayak at Punta Banda… but the true pleasures of this festive city are culinary. That’s why a cruise to Ensenada, Mexico should top every foodie’s wish list. Have your fill of fresh oysters and sip a rich Baja merlot. Soak up the richness of the local culture as you enjoy the journey.

  • Try unique Baja cuisine in Ensenada, the region's seafood and culinary capital.
  • Shop for silver jewelry and handmade pottery on Avenida López Mateos.
  • Watch the sea spout at La Bufadora burst from the rocks on Punta Banda.
