The trip was more amazing than I could have ever imagined. It was well organized and so easy to communicate with Rachel and Mackenzie. I've never met such an incredible group of ladies, everyone was so nice, and we had so much fun together. Croatia was unbelievably beautiful and I'm grateful we were able to explore so many different places and do so many amazing activities. Lifelong friends and memories made. So thankful!!

If you are looking to party and don’t mind catching someone else’s virus, I’d say go for it!. I have been a part of luxury group trips in the past, so I would not consider this trip to be luxury. We were told only 1 towel for the week, no changing of sheets, high places in the room were dusty. The cabins were visited each day to make beds, and straighten up; however, nothing was cleaned. By the end of the trip, the toilet, sink, and floor had visible dirt. The boat staff were friendly and helpful (I can’t fault them for the expectations set by the trip host). Having 2 hosts on the trip I imagined everything to go smoothly, but that was not what happened. There was a high level of disorganization. The hosts did not go on most excursions, and they also exposed the rest of the group to sickness. It was a tad embarrassing that one of the hosts was drunk for breakfast. The trip through the boat was significantly cheaper (hence the mid at best level of this trip), yet most excursions were additional. Croatia is beautiful and definitely worth the cruise, but I feel I grossly overpaid for the services received.

Thank you very much for all of your efforts arranging the July 2024 Croatia sailing trip. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to take this trip. - You do a fantastic job of attracting fun, welcoming, inclusive women. The group of women on this trip was fantastic. I can’t imagine a better group of people to travel with. - I appreciate that there were activities planned for many of the stops along this trip so I didn’t have to figure that out on my own. - I loved the swim stops and the great music to set the vacation vibe. - I think it’s misleading to use the word “luxury” in the title of this trip. I don’t see how the Dream boat could be described as luxury in any way, given the amenities of the ship and the limited services offered by the crew (for example, only two towel services over 7 days). Even the boat’s own webpage doesn’t use the word luxury. - I feel like I over paid for this trip. It was not good value, in other words. - There were many opportunities to improve communication before and during this trip. - For example, the group chat on Instagram before the trip was very chaotic and disorganized. Questions from travelers were repeated and it was hard to keep track of answers. Information about this trip specifically, but also a general FAQ guide should be shared via email for the travelers to easily access and review. - Also, we were asked to select trip activities in the Instagram chat with very little information. For example, we didn’t know the start time of the activity, duration of the activity, amount of walking, travel time to the activity, etc. Even if specific start and end times couldn’t be confirmed ahead of time, there was a lot more information that could have been shared in a much more organized way to make the sign up process more customer friendly. - Another example, some trip updates were shared verbally at meals on the boat and not in the WhatsApp group chat, meaning if you missed the meal, you missed the update. Other updates were only shared in the WhatsApp so if you didn’t have your phone in your hand, you missed the update in real time. - I’d like to see an elevated customer focus and improved consideration for the traveler experience. For example, each time the boat docks, the travel leader should share a picture of the first boat in our line of boats so we know how to find our way back to our boat. Also, I experienced a “dropped pin” that had the wrong location so I ended up doing back and forth trekking with my luggage in the heat. - I’d like to see more organized transfer communication. On my first day I waited an hour for Toni at the airport past the arranged pickup time. Then on the day we got off the boat, a large group of us waited for Toni in the brutal heat for almost an hour. We would have appreciated a way to contact Toni directly as the group of us waited and began to really worry after he was 10 minutes late. - The change in itinerary Friday night and coming back to Split early was a surprise. It significantly impacted multiple travelers’ flights since we were back at the dock 12 hours earlier than planned and thus able to make earlier flights home. This caused a shifting of flights, cancelling of unneeded hotel rooms in Split, and lots of movement with the shuttle pickup times. - The food on the boat Dream was poor. The dinnertime chicken patties and pork (?) was not good at all. I’d call myself pretty easy to please when it comes to food, too. - I understand the crew may not be able to share the menu for the entire week ahead of time, but I’d love to see the menu for the day at breakfast time, or at least the menu for the meal posted at the beginning of the meal. This way we’d know what was coming and if we’d be able to eat the next course. It’s a real shame that during this trip a vegetarian ate meat unintentionally. When we asked the server what she was serving, it was very common that she didn’t know (or would say “it’s a surprise!”) as she handed us our plates. - Regarding snacks on the boat, why weren’t we told before the trip that we can’t bring snacks onto the boat? Then when we showed up with food in our luggage, we were told we had to keep it hidden like we were keeping contraband in a prison. - I found it hard to request services on the boat, which led to miscommunication. For example, there should be a way to easily submit a request or ticket for more toilet paper or an extra towel. - The walking tour in Split led by Anna was great. The walking tour in Hvar was ok and I’d recommend you find a new tour guide. Thank you again for the hard work put into planning this trip and I appreciate your willingness to improve the experience for the next group.

I meet some amazing people and Croatia was amazing however this was not luxury in any way. Bedding was only changed once on a 7 day cruise and same with the towel. The beds and pillows at my hostel were better than the ones on the cruise. The owner of the company was apparently on vacation because 4 of the mornings she was passed out on the back of the boat or crying and then loudly proclaiming she was the bartender at 8 am on like day two. I guess if you like to party this is the company for you but I’m more interested in remembering my experiences. Also every excursion was extra and thrown together very last minute so much so that we never got a wine tour. Extremely disappointed with the lack of just respect I do group travel so I don’t have to think or be stressed out and this vacation was extremely stressful and most of the group was complaining about the lack of “Luxury “ FYI we found out that the same ship could have been chartered for 1700$ per person yet I paid 2800$ and then had to pay for all of my activities besides two walking tours. Not good at all pick another group I know I will be.

First time going to Croatia and as part of the alumni group - had a blast! Loved exploring Croatia via boat and getting to know the girls. The crew was friendly and helpful as was the alumni who have already gone before. I can totally see why this is a reoccurring trip for so many. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and excursion or “choose your own adventure” itinerary.

I have traveled on 4 trips with adventuring for life and have a 5th planned. I have met some of my closest friends from this group and have experienced several once in a lifetime opportunities. Trips are highly thought out and there is always free time to plan out your own adventure should that be on your own or with new friends. I love this group and highly recommend you experience it!

I have now been on four trips with Rachel and can say that I have enjoyed every single one of them! From Italy in 2022 to Spain, Portugal, and Egypt in 2023 to India in 2024, every trip has been well organized and a blast! As a teacher, I don’t enjoy planning on my off time. These trips have made my dreams of traveling abroad and experiencing everything the world has to offer more attainable than I could ever have imagined. One of my favorite things about booking with Adventuring For Life is getting to meet so many like-minded adventurous girls (and guys!). I’m looking forward to my next trip to Croatia and to future trips with A4L!
