Beautiful. location and facilities.  The yoga shala was fantastic with a view of the ocean and nice breeze. 

This retreat was a once in a lifetime experience, and so much credit goes to our host and organizer Katerina, at Xplorefit.  The resort was beautiful and the staff kind, friendly, and very attentive, the food was excellent, the rooms spacious and inviting, the grounds a tropical wonderland.  From beginning to end Katerina considered every detail to ensure that our journey was well planned, seamless and enjoyable.

This event was exceptionally well organized - everything one needed was available, warm and friendly staff available to answer questions, unbelievably excellent food.  Casa Coco is a perfect place to have a group event - easy to interact but also privacy, all in an incredibly beautiful setting. Best of all, two yoga classes a day led by the fantastic teacher, Coral Brown! It was a great week. 

Wonderful massages, very good at providing a relaxing atmosphere and allowing for full relaxation.  I really enjoyed both of mine!

60 Minute Massage April 23 - 28 Group Retreat

We had an amazing time. There was a nice balance of yoga, free time and optional activities, without any pressure or expectation to do anything. The location was quiet and there were many comfortable nooks and chairs for relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. The food was fresh, local and flavorful. Chef Agustina and her staff were accommodating with various dietary restrictions and preferences. Other staff were responsive and personable, and set up optional activities like snorkeling with minimal effort on our part. We felt taken care of and wholeheartedly enjoyed this lovely and lowkey respite from our busy lives.

It's hard to find the words to describe this transformational experience, but authentic, heartfelt, educational, spiritual, cathartic, and joyful all apply for me. I can't recommend the Temescal Ceremony highly enough. Just go. You will not regret this!

The 60 minute massage was fantastic, I even mentioned it in my review of Coco B. The masseuse started slowly, but then added passive stretches and movement to the more typical stationery massage.  Excellent!

Coco B is a beautiful place!  The hotel is lovely--the furnishings, light colors and openness of it.  We had the best room in the place, with the view shown in ads for the hotel!  Vegetarian food was excellent. There was always a green drink, liquado, or other healthy drink available in the lobby. The open air palapa is a beautiful place to do yoga.  It is so nice to go on vacation and come back feeling healthier than ever! 
Service was excellent, they had a crew of people to keep the place clean, and a wonderful masseuse whom we kept quite busy!

Thank you for a beautiful experience.  I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very thoughtful and knew her practice very well.  She massaged all the areas that needed very much needed work.  The aromatherapy before and after the massage was a healing and relaxing touch!

Snorkel Excursion By Private Boat

What a beautiful place!  This was a business trip with part leisure. Casa Coco is very  comfortable with impeccable service and a staff that went beyond what we expected!  The included breakfast was delicious and healthy prepared at the time we wanted. 

Our cordinator Lisa was amazing paying attention to all of our needs in detail from arrival in Cancun to departure!  

The beds are perfectly soft and if we had a problem with anything in the room they would meet our needs right away. The only suggestion I would have is for the hotel is to install blackout curtains for customers that like to sleep in late as it gets very bright in the mornings.   

We highly recomendable Casa Coco and will stay there again! 

Rick Antillon Trip { Mar  14 - 18 2021 }

A wonderful opportunity to deepen my yoga practice in a gorgeous setting with a gifted and talented yoga teacher, Nina Yau. Nina knows her yoga and breaks down every movement into precise segments to make the poses accessible to everyone she teaches. Even better, she taught a variety of yoga styles, including a traditional Hatha sequence and mixed movement art of Budokon yoga. 

Coco B Wellness resort provided the perfect backdrop for our yoga retreat. We practiced on a rooftop Palupa with a view of the ocean and Isla Mujeres' natural beauty. The staff was very helpful, especially when it came to shielding our rooftop Palupa from ocean breezes. Kitchen staff prepared sumptuous food and every meal they served was spot-on. 

I couldn't have given myself a better birthday present as I enter my fifth decade of life!

We were beautifully greeted every step along the way. This facility is magnificent. Boutique in feeling, clean and contemporary in look and a staff to serve with kindness and desire. We were a small retreat yet we were treated as if the place was ours, we were home.

I had imagined the perfect yoga retreat – challenging yet accessible classes, a master teacher who gives great hands-on assists, a sense of community among attendees, fresh fruit & seafood, a tropical island, and chill boutique lodging.  Nina’s retreat was this and more.  

Challenging yet accessible classes by a master teacher: Nina is a master teacher.  Her classes will challenge your strength, flexibility, and balance.  But, she doesn’t just call difficult poses, she gives you the steps and building blocks to get there.  For example, she offered building blocks to getting to Crow which no teacher had shared with me before.  These helped me get closer to the pose, but also helped more advanced practitioners build additional strength to accomplish the pose with more grace. She also pushes you to further deepen your practice and transitions between poses.  For instance, instead of launching yourself into Half Moon using momentum, Nina guides the class through an intentional transition from Warrior II, to Triangle, to slowly lifting into Half Moon. 

A variety of yoga styles: Nina is a teacher who has dedicated extensive time and rigor to her own learning. At our retreat, we practiced traditional hatha, vinyasa flow, slow flow, yin flow, yin (which targets fascia, tendons, and tissues through long holds), yoga nidra (a deep relaxation meditation sometimes known as yogic sleep), zazen (seated meditation), and budokon (a moderately paced style with martial arts and animal locomotion influences).  Nina teaches each of these styles with ease, deep knowledge, and great hands-on assists. 

Beyond asana: Nina told us at the opening of the retreat that “this is not just a yoga retreat; it is also a wellness retreat” – and she 

Thoughtfully planned & well communicated: Nina is intentional about building a full experience. Everything from the location, to the accommodations, to the meals, to the daily schedule, to the sequencing of classes was curated, arranged and communicated with clarity and great care.  

A positive community between attendees: Nina fosters an environment of joy, inclusion, fun, and loving kindness.  I didn’t know any of the attendees going into the retreat, but we developed into fast friends.  This is in large part thanks to Nina.  She designed the retreat intentionally with some group meals, an opening circle to help people get to know each other in a meaningful way, and by selecting a semi-private boutique hotel with space for the group to relax and mingle. 

Prior to attending this retreat, I had occasionally taken Nina’s classes. I admired her intentional cohesive classes and her joyful energy.  Nina is a teacher who does not distance herself from her students.  Coming out of this retreat, I am honored to call her not just my teacher but also my friend. 

My retreat yogi students and I had a fabulous experience as Casa Coco! Lisa, Jeffrey, and the Coco culinary team and staff were attentive and so welcoming. Anything we needed, we had taken care of. All of the restaurant recommendations on the island were absolutely delicious and fantastic. Wonderful spa and massage services anywhere on the property with flexible times. The food was incredibly fresh and beautiful. Definitely would come back again. Thank you Coco B team!!!

I wish I was more of a poet to do justice to my experience here. Thank you Peter and Mitchel! I am profoundly grateful! I love all the yoga we did and I learned so much. Casa Coco is a gem! So clean, and tidy, and the staff are really very professional! The decor is welcoming.  The food was delich! Sylvia, Lisa, Roberto, Kevin, and Emma are so thoughtful! When we came into our rooms and liked them immediately, we truly felt at home. Also, there's the rooftop purpose-build yoga spaces... 2 spacious palapas. (Thanks Mitch for teaching me that word!) Doing yoga in the open weather twice a day was a treat I quickly came to cherish. The roof's ribbing was available to suspend aerial yoga swings. The tranquility... I've been back home 2 days and I miss Casa coco, my classmates, and my wonderful teachers. This is a boutique operation of the highest quality. I sincerely encourage everyone to give it a chance.

I had a wonderful time.  The house, the weather, and the food are all exactly what I was hoping for. The staff was professional yet very friendly and warm and welcoming. The ladies who did the cooking really know their stuff, there was plenty of food and it was all fresh and tasty. The ladies I met on the retreat were very warm hearted and personable. We had the most amazing trip and if I could give it 100 stars I would ? the accommodations were so beautiful and I already miss my cozy bed ! Lisa and Emma were so fantastic I can’t say enough . Yoga with Lora up on the breathtaking palapas followed by massages were just dreamy . I’ll be back next year and would highly recommend to anyone !

New Year Island Getaway - Renew and Rejuvenate with 'Dope Yogi"

Loved my time at Coco B.  The food was truly exceptional, even though many of our group were either vegetarian or vegan. The fish was so fresh and flavorful as was the variety. However, I could not imagine how great the vegan dishes would be too. Loved the many fresh vegetates and fruits that were at every meal. Simple, delicious, flavorful, fresh and complex describe each and every meal.   
  Thank you for the impeccable hospitality. Every staff member whether they were senior staff or someone coming in to clean up our room was as nice as could be. Every person was a gracious host during our stay. Lastly even the next door dog and cat were a pleasure to be with……. Thank you for a wonderful retreat, it was everything I hoped for and more.         Corey Slovis  



Oh my goodness, all I can say is I wish my stay was longer. The staff at Coco B curated the most magical stay for us. Everything was well planned and each detail was calmly and thoughtfully coordinated. Our stay was so relaxing, with just the right amount of adventure. They even coordinated for us to watch the NFL game at a local beach bar! We had a perfect pilgrimage to Punta Sur for sunrise and such a fun snorkeling adventure. The staff were very knowledgeable and kind. And THE FOOD. I cannot say how delicious, clean and amazing the food was.  The chef and kitchen staff were amazing and it was the most divine meals I’ve had! Recommend casa coco retreat 10/10!

Our whole family (17 in total) had a grand time.  Wonderful food, very nice accommodations and fantastic staff.  Very good value for such a nice experience-highly recommended!  We'd return for sure.

Beautiful place with an AMAZING staff! The food was so delicious! Everyone was really nice and accommodating. There were paddle boards and kayaks for us to use as well as snorkel equipment, float tubes, and other water gear! I took advantage of these and had a blast exploring the water! I learned so much during the yoga teacher training and I am extremely grateful for the teacher as well as all of those that helped her organize this trip. The only downside would be the lack of organization at times and not sticking to schedule, waiting on the instructor to arrive to class, and the noise at night. Sounds echoed pretty loudly through the walls and it made it difficult to sleep.

Women’s Retreat & Renewal  Isla Mujeres ~ “The Island of Women

The trip was great the waiting for the ferry seemed longer than it should be since there was more than one boat available.  It was unexpected the amount of bugs that were bitting all day.   The use of bug spray pretty much all day to try and keep them away was not pleasant.   I am highly susceptible to bites and it made it uncomfortable and sort of kept me from others who were getting bit but not as much.  
The facility was great but away from the opportunity to take a walk or be out side of the resort at all. 
The staff at the resort were wonderful and accommodating especially the chef!!!!  His meals were exceptional to say the least. 
Just a few things to consider should I decide to do it again.   


What a pleasure it was to spend a week at Casa Cielo, next door to Coco B Wellness.  

The home is furnished with all the essentials you'll need during your stay. The pantry is stocked with more than enough spices and paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. (I mention this because not all homes provide these things.)

The kitchen / living room combo is the main gathering area and it is decorated so tastefully. There's two comfortable couches, a chair and plenty of bar stools around the kitchen island, but you won't want to spend much time indoors. Right off of the living room is the patio and pool and it's a very relaxing, tranquil space. We spent our mornings there, until we headed down to the large, overstuffed bean bag style chairs by the ocean to soak up the afternoon sun and stare at the ocean. There's paddle boards available to guests, if you're feeling adventurous. 

The bedrooms are all a good size, the individual air conditioners work excellent and the bedding is extremely comfortable. Getting a good night's rest was never a problem. 

Lisa and Emma were always just a text away. Or, you can just walk between the two homes and you'll no doubt find someone willing to help you with anything you may want or need.  

I would definitely recommend renting this private villa in Isla Mujeres and hope to return someday.

Overall, good trip! 

Casa Coco was very pretty. Some water pressure issues and power outages due to the storms. The food got better throughout the week although we often said how it would have been nice to be able to order guac or a snack during the day with more substance than fruit & nuts. Meal times always had good yummy meals! 



What a wonderful trip-great people, great teachers, and great property.  Thanks so much!  Will definitely be back next year!

This was the most amazing Yoga Teacher Training in the most amazing location and accommodation.  Everything was taken care of in such a loving and caring way.  The meals were nurturing, the ambience grounding and almost ethereal at the same time.  It was beautiful to be able to get in the ocean every day, the pool every day, and whenever we did have time off, relax without distraction.
