Early morning 5 hours ground transfer to Hato la Aurora.
Hato la Aurora is a 17.000 hectares ranch, the private property has been using partially for cattle ranching but also for conservation. Along the property we will find the Ariporo river, the gallery and riparian forest along the rivers and small creeks and the open flooded savannas with ponds and wetlands, home of a vast biodiversity. During the dry season and around the remnant over-summer water bodies, there is a congregation of wildlife: Herons, Egrets, Ibises, Ducks but also mammals tend to stay nearby and this place turns into beautiful scenarios for watching and photographing giving incredible chances to capture scenes but also to play with the light and imagination, that’s why we will stay here and on the next couple of days to explore the ranch in the way to maximize our chances of sights and photos.
