El Trip De Jenny Food Tour in Colón was hands down one of the highlights of our 7 days in Panama. Our family of four (all adults) left this tour full, happy, and genuinely amazed by the depth and diversity of Panamanian food—especially Colón’s cuisine, which feels completely distinct from other parts of the country. Jenny, our incredible guide, didn’t just feed us—she educated us. She shared the roots and cultural history behind each dish, helping us understand how Colón’s food is shaped by its people, heritage, and traditions. You can feel her pride and passion in every stop! She told us to come hungry… but honestly, come EXTRA hungry. The amount and variety of food were unbelievable: desserts, soups, fish, ice cream, shaved ice, baked goods, octopus, shrimp, chicken, and so much more. Every bite was packed with flavor—my God, it was so tasty. This tour completely opened our eyes (and our palates) and gave us a deeper appreciation for Panama beyond what I've seen most visitors experience. If you’re in Colón, passing through Colon (like us), or even if you’re just visiting Panama in general—El Trip De Jenny's food tour is an absolute must-do.
