This workshop is for you If you’re in the Seattle/Portland area and want to witness and shoot this extremely bright Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) this weekend.  Join myself and a good friend and Space Weather Aficionado Mark Stewart for a 2 day Comet Workshop. We will have Star Trackers for use and some incredible scouted locations to capture the comet with.  Daytime classroom sessions will include how to compose, edit and plan shooting this comet and future ones.  As a bonus, we will be teaching in depth ways that are VERY mentally digestible to forecast aurora and understand the science behind it. You’ll walk away feeling like a pro aurora chaser and comet capturer with some extremely unique Comet photos.

During the day we will go over our game plan and have a classroom session.  Then head to our first location to capture the Comet just after sunset.
