JUNE 1, 2027 - OVERNIGHT FLIGHT

Travel Documentation Advisory

U.S. citizens and passport holders must have a passport valid for at least three months beyond the duration of your stay in Italy; a six month validity is recommended.  No tourist visa required for stays of 90 days or less; note that non-U.S. passport holders may need a visa, and should consult the Consulate’s office to review their unique details.

Additionally, beginning in late 2026, U.S. citizens will need a new electronic travel authorization—ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) for short tourist trips to Schengen countries.  This is a digital permit for visa-exempt travelers, involving a simple online questionnaire and small fee, and is the responsibility of each traveler prior to travel.  Kuoni Tumlare will provide detailed instruction and advisement in advance.

Kuoni Tumlare cannot be held responsible for any cancellation costs that may result from the lack of visa, ETIAS, or any other valid travel document requirement. Any incorrect information may result in denied boarding, and the need to buy a new ticket at your own expense.
