About this trip
As someone who has been fortunate enough to live and work in Coral Bay for over 5 seasons now, I am beyond excited to have finally designed the most perfect ocean adventure. I cannot wait to share my favourite place in the entire world with a small group of ocean lovers, helping you tick off lots of bucket list encounters. This place is truely magic that has to be experienced to be understood.
May is a very special month known to the locals as "Magic May" so it only made sense for me to host during this time. This trip is centred around the marine life and seasonally timed in hopes to encounter whale sharks, manta rays and tigers sharks as the main megafauna targets. However, its the Ningaloo Reef, so you never know what bucket list species are out there!

1x Whale Shark Tour
Prioritising Whale sharks but with the ability to swim with other species we find. Lunch and snacks included. Marine life spotter plane included.

Prioritising Manta Rays and Tiger sharks but with the ability to swim with other species we find. Lunch and snacks included. Marine life spotter plane included.
2x Marine Megafauna Tour
Completely exclusive to our small expedition group with endless possibilities. Lunch and snacks included. Marine life spotter plane included.
7 nights accomodation
Dormitory accomodation. Option to upgrade room for an added cost, subject to availability.
Sunset Cruise
Usually for farewell dinner but weather dependant . Cheese board and snacks provided.

I’m Mai- an Australian marine and wildlife biologist with a camera and passion for visual storytelling. I was fortunate enough to develop a very strong connection to the ocean as a young girl, with my obsession to explore and protect the natural world growing more and more over time. I have been working as a professional underwater photographer on the UNESCO world heritage Ningaloo Reef for over 4 years, educating and documenting it's unique significance. Combining my passion for sharing the world's beauty via photography and the ability to physically share it through these trips has been something I've truly fallen in love with. I create my expeditions all around the idea of connection. Connection not only with the like minded people who join us on the adventure, but also connection to the unique places we travel to and the wildlife we seek to encounter.
