The tour begins early in the morning from Drake Bay beach, where you'll board a boat that will take you along the stunning coastline to Corcovado National Park. Our experienced and trained tour guides, who are fluent in both English and Spanish, will lead you on a hike through the jungle, showing you all the amazing wildlife that the park has to offer. Endangered species like the Bairds' Tapir, Scarlet Macaw, Three-toed Sloth, White-lipped Peccary, Great Harpy Eagle, and even Jaguars are all known to reside in Corcovado. You may also see White-Faced Capuchin, Howler, Spider, and Squirrel monkeys on this incredible hike.

Please note that the boat ride to Corcovado National Park can be bumpy and may take at least 1 hour.

We had a great time doing the one day excursion from Drake Bay to Sirena station with Pacheco Enterprise. We highly recommend our guide!! He was kind and very knowledgeable. Not only was he able to spot a lot of animals from afar and show them to us (and we had really nice pics!) But also, we felt he was passionated with his job and his knowledge expanded to the vegetation of the Park. We had a very nice discussion about the types of mushrooms that grew in Costa Rica in such forests. 
We highly recommend booking a tour with them!

INCREIBLE! Corcovado fue una locura, la guía estaba super bien formada, muy respetuosa con la naturaleza y los animales y muy paciente. Lo organizó genial para que vieramos lo máximo posible. Y nos ayudaba con las fotos. Amé. Y el tour por Isla de Caño fue lo más!!! Alvaro el mejor guía!! Todos nos acogieron genial y vimos muchos animales, incluso el tiburón ballena gracias a la elección del guía! Alvaro también nos hizo fotos con nuestra gopro, majísimo e implicado. Con muchísimo respeto también a los animales. Se nota que los dos guías aman su trabajo y eso se transmite✨ Muchísimas gracias estamos felices!!!!!

Merci à Erick pour ces 2 jours au Corcovado. C'est un guide passionné qui nous a su dénicher les animaux cachés et nous expliquer la flore de cette belle reserve.
Superbe expérience, je recommande.

Excellent guide! (William) Good installations for the night and shower. The food was ok. But the first hiking was difficult because we had to manage with a lot of mud!!! It was realy too much... Our attention was mostly focused to look at the path and not the nature... Fortunetly, the other hiking rides were better. We've seen few animals in wild nature. But we were surprise by the important number of people who were there even toi stay d'or the night! A lot of groups walked in the same paths all the day. We understand that the tourists represent a good way for the park to make money but it will be less interesting if you continue to increase too much the number of people who can go there. Instead of this, Corcovado park is still a good experience. Muchas Gracias!

All in all we had a really nice experience. We saw a lot of animals in the water. It was good to have a Guide with us. It was also really cool to have a Little freetime on two stops where we also Could see Aras or Monkeys and just relax. 

The only Thing we would Feedback you:  maybe Next Time a Lot more fruits and Drinks. We were 13 People on the boat and we just had one pineapple.

CGC & MH - Cano Island - Snorkeling

We had Ayder as our guide and he was great -- very passionate and knowledgeable. We had great weather overall apart from some rain on the boat ride to La Sirena, which in itself was quite an experience. This overnight tour is something that should not be missed. We saw all of the animals we wanted to see and more. The food was great. Thanks to Pacheco Tours for organizing this tour. They limit the group to six people. There were only five of us during our tour.

My guide was first rate. Definitely recommend.

We have really appreciated this 2 days experience in the Corcovado park. Marlon has been a great guide and we recommend him to every people wanted to discover this park.

Muy buena experiencia! El guía muy atento a enseñarnos los peces y tortugas que se podían ver y a llevarnos a los mejores lugares con su larga experiencia. Muy bien organizado el tour.

Pas la meilleure sortie que j'ai faite. Pauvre en terne de coraux, plus ou moins de poissons. Personnel adéquat professionnelle et sympatque.  Il y avait du courant, pas fait pour quelqu un qui a peur de l eau ou un enfant. Trop profond et eau brouillée., pas agréable. Décevant pour le prix.

Ayder is a great guide. A lot of stories, a lot of information. And the national park is great a lot of different animals. Really a good experience to not miss in Costa Rica

Had an awesome time, our guide and captain were great. Water was beautiful and we saw sharks and turtles. The food was delicious. 😋

First of all, the guide was amazing and shared a lot of knowledge.
The main reason I came to the guided tour is to see a lot of animals and special ones.
I wasn't interested in common birds and insects.
The tour is done on a route with many other people. For sure animals run away.
I would prefer to do a tour in a more remote area to be able to see special animals. 
For the price of the tour I expected way more than a casual hike.

CGC & MH - Corcovado Day Tour to Sirena Station

This was really exceptional and beyond our expectations! Erik was an incredible guide, we really enjoyed the tours with him. Our „overnight“ group was much smaller than the day tour groups - with other people interested in nature as we are. Having time to „wait“ made a huge difference, e.g., we found a sleeping Tapir and came back around the time he woke up, in between we were able to experience other animals. We really liked the food at the Sirena station, being both flexitarian and vegetarian. It is all local sourced and cooked „with heart“.
Overall, we were quite happy with the hygienic situation at the station too - of course, it is in the middle of the jungle, but it was absolutely okay. Sleeping in the „open“ station was a kind of experience too, like having real-life ASMR sleep sounds.

Upfront, we were really unsure with which company to book. We experience Pachecho tours as a local company renown with locals at Bahia Drake. We would recommend this experience 10/10 to everyone visiting Costa Rica, yet we hope Corcovado remains a more hidden jewel.

A pesar de la lluvia que es algo que no depende de usts, logramos hacer snorkel y ver varios animales, nuestro guía Claudio muy amable y siempre atento a que pudiéramos ver todos los animales mientras realizábamos snorkel 

El tour de principio a fin fue espectacular, provechoso e informativo, nuestro guía tenía mucho conocimiento sobre la flora y fauna del lugar. 


We had a great time. Lots of nature, birds, seemingly ancient trees. It felt like floating down a real life Jungle Tour. At the end there is a walk across multiple secluded beaches that I would have paid the same full price for itself. 

The Floating Tour

No nos gustó la experiencia porque nuestro guía, Steven, fue desagradable con nosotros en todo momento, desde que subimos al barco nos estuvo riñendo, por no subir más rápido, luego en el parque por según él tardar en cerrar las mochilas y cambiar de sitio después de la revisión, no podías hacer nada sin que viniera a echarte la bronca, de malas maneras. Si hablabas le molestaba, si decías que querías ver algún animal te aleccionada. Todo con muy malos modales y de forma soberbia y desagradable. Fue tan mala la experiencia y con lo cara que es esta excursión que esa misma tarde decidimos irnos y ya no hicimos la excursión de isla del caño como teníamos previsto. Además no vimos casi fauna, una decepción. Menos mal que vimos ballenas y tortugas, eso fue lo mejor, y la pericia del capitán de la barca, que lo hacía genial.

We had a great time in Corcovado - Sirena station day tour. I travelled with my son 11.5 years old. 
We saw a lot of animals, it is unbelievable.
Our guide Alejandra was great, found a lot of animals and explained a lot. 
Lunch in the Sirena station was good.
The way to the park is by boat, a very beautiful sailing as we saw the pacific beaches.
I truly can recommend on Pacheco tours.

Me and my son 11.5 years old, had a great snorkelling tour with Pacheco company, to Cano Island.
We saw whales in the way to the Island, those were moms with cups.
We snorkel twice there 45 minutes each, clear waters with beautiful fishes.
We saw few reef sharks below us, 10 meters bellow, they are not aggressive.
We saw many big turtles.
The ways with the speed boat are also fun.
Our guide,  Adrian, was very friendly and knowledgeable, explained everything and took care of us.
A great experience with a great guide and with a great company.

The snorkeling tour was incredible. Our guide was Ray (hopefully that's how it's spelled) and he was very keen to ensure that everyone had a great experience and didn't let up until, for example, everyone had seen the animal or whatever else there was to discover. 
We saw sharks, huge turtles and of course lots of fished. 
Highly recommended!

Stiven si estás leyendo esto decirte que no he encontrado en mi vida un guía tan poco amable y grosero como tú, pero decirte Stiven que deberías inténtalo e ir aprendiendo… creo y confío plenamente que algún día conseguirás ser amable y así ser un buen guía Stiven… piensa que estamos pagando 110 dólares de excursión y vamos a ver animales y disfrutar no a aguantar tu mal humor Stiven…. Creo haber leído que el problema lo tienes con los turistas españoles… arréglate de eso Stiven… el racismo es una enfermedad muy mala… En fin dejando atrás esta crítica constructiva con un poco de humor (que es lo que le hace falta) para Stiven que creo que es una persona muy inteligente pero que para nada vale para trabajar cara el público decir que la excursión y la experiencia no valen la pena (en mi humilde opinión). No vimos muchos animales y Stiven nos amargó generalmente al grupo entero o casi a todo el grupo el tour. Gracias Stiven… yo ya me reía por no llorar en el tour, pensando he pagado 110 euros para que me traten mal y no ver más que 4 animales contados… En fin si os lo podéis ahorrar o probar con otra compañía o si pedís en esta otro guía que no sea Stiven mejor. Nada más que añadir… PURA VIDA🫶🏾

Nos lo pasamos muy bien, el capitan con una lancha perfecta, las inmersiones buscando los mejores lugares y  asistiéndonos a todos, Xavier y Alvaro, nos ayudaban en todo momento, la búsqueda de ballenas espectacular y acabando con buena comida

Transportation, accomodation, food: all Great.

Super journée avec Luis, un excellent guide qui a su nous faire découvrir de nombreuses espèces vivant dans le parc du Corcovado 

The fun started with the boattrip, that was allready adventurous! We even saw a whale! When we arrived in Corcovado, our guide Alejandra took us directly to the beach where we found a sleeping tapir in the bushes. The rest of the day we had nice sightings too like pecari's, a snake eating a frog, many monkees. Lunch was good. Had a wonderful trip! Tip: bring watershoes! We had to walk through the sea over a rocky surface to the boat on our way back. 

Me ha encantado la visita a Corcovado tanto Eric como Marlon nos atendieron espectaculares. 
El estar en pleno parque natural y ver muchísimos animales en su hábitat nos pareció sorprendente.
Lo recomendaré a todos mis contactos que viajen a Costa Rica.

Nous avons apprécié les deux sorties qui étaient super. Les guides pour chacune étaient très sympathiques et pédagogues. Pour ma part j’ai eu le mal de mer pendant la sortie snorkeling à Isla del Cano et Alvaro m’a gentiment proposé de rester sur l’île pendant la deuxième sortie, ce qui m’a permis de reprendre des couleurs. Avis aux personnes sensibles : la mer est agitée et il y a du courant. Et bonus, lors des deux sorties, nous avons aperçus une baleine Nous recommandons les deux sorties.

Le seul bémol qui ne nous a pas impactés directement, c’est l’embarquement et le débarquement du bateau qui peut être dangereux, nous avons vu des gens chuter dans l’eau sans gravité mais avec quelques égratignures. 


Corcovado + Cano Island

Both trips were great. Only thing that was not all right was sitting on the boat to Corcovado. You should put children to sit at the back of the boat. Otherwise they get see sick. We told that to our guide and it was better on the way back. 

It was great, people are very interesting and take care of everythings we can see. Thank you very much !

Tuvimos una muy buena experiencia tanto en la visita al parque nacional con nuestro guía que se las sabía todas y nos fue mostrando todo tipo de animales que a ojo inexperto son imposible de detectar. Muy grata experiencia y muy bien organizado.
Igualmente, el buceo en la Isla del Caño fue otra experiencia maravillosa, no sólo porque al ir pudimos observar de cerca defines y ballenas sino porque allí también nos fueron guiando para ver tortugas, peces de todos colores, una manta raya y un tiburón. Lo disfrutamos mucho.
