The tour begins at 8:00 am departing from Drake Bay. A 30-minute boat ride takes us to San Pedrillo station. There, we'll embark on easy hike through the secondary forest, seeking out diverse wildlife. Keep an eye out for various monkey species, peccaries, anteaters, coatis, and perhaps even glimpses of a puma or tapir.
After the initial hike, we'll take a break and enjoy lunch at the ranger station. Our second hike delves into the primary forest, offering more wildlife encounters while learning about the plants and trees within this majestic, 2000-year-old environment. The day concludes at a waterfall with natural swimming holes, allowing us to bask in the tranquil sounds of nature.
Returning to Drake Bay takes approximately half an hour by boat, with an estimated arrival between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
