 May 31 and June 1 we will have activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our Coronado High School graduating class of 1969;   Saturday morning golf is to be organized and is available at the Orange Tree Resort (contact organizer Bill Berger, contact information is below).  Friday afternoon, 3 pm, we will be provided a tour of the high school by school personnel, and then  gather informally at a local establishment for an unhosted social hour.  The main event is Saturday night, a Mexican buffet dinner at the Orange Tree Resort, with a DJ playing tunes from our school days

The Main Event - the main event, dinner, is Saturday, evening June 1.    Its a buffet style Mexican dinner, with prizes, awards, and entertainment provided by a local DJ at the Orange Tree Resort; our DJ will play our favorite old '60's tunes to help us recall our earlier days.  

School Tour and Social hour - Fri May 31, 3 pm - School personnel will provide us with a tour of the "new" Coronado High School,  7501 E Virginia Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, afterwards we'll gather for a social hour at Flicka's Bar and Grill, 2003 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale

Update on the Orange Tree Resort Pool (updated 5/8/19) - Earlier, the resort reported that their pool will be unexpectedly closed for renovations from April 29th through June 6, 2019.   More recently as of this date the pool company states that it will most likely be completed by May 27th (which is prior to our event May 31 and June 1); the resort placed an alert on its website that it will be closed possibly until June 2nd (just giving them a “cushion” in case they are delayed somehow in repairing what was needed for safety).  So it is possible, if repairs are completed quickly, the pool will be open.  In the event it is not open, the resort has partnered with Embassy Suites , approximately 2 miles away in which Orange tree resort customers have been invited to use the Embassy Suites pool.  Their pool is outdoors, overlooking the golf course, heated to 85 degrees and the have a pool bar.
