During the morning, you will enjoy the adventure of the canopy tour.

This day your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to enjoy a fantastic canopy tour on La Fortuna area with amazing landscapes of Arenal Volcano that is perfect for your vacation in Costa Rica.

Athica is located within the Arenal Conservation Area and is without a doubt a healthy release of adrenaline and an incredible immersion in nature with a moving panoramic view. Zip lining above the tree canopy will not only offer you a great adventure, it will also offer you the opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. Your tour will begin with a warm welcome and a brief safety speech, after which your equipment will be put to embark in this amazing adventure. Enjoy this thrilling aerial adventure of approximately 3 km, starting from a tower 13 meters high and glide your way down 8 cables made with the best galvanized stainless steel, ranging from 80 meters to 750 meters in length, with an average height of 38 meters. Speeds will top 60km per hour! Each of our 14 platforms, 5 of which are constructed in extraordinary trees, were strategically designed at varying heights to allow you to observe the rainforest from different angles and photograph the awe-inspiring scenery.  If you are willing to take the most exhilarating, electrifying and mind-blowing adventure you can enjoy our amazing Tarzan Swing, where you have to jump to a secure rope and literally throw yourself off a platform, then you start swinging back and forth between the trees, that allows you an incredible view of the mighty Arenal Volcano as well as the rainforest above, below and around you as a healthy rush of adrenaline surges through your bones for an adventure you will never forget. 

After this unforgettable adventure, you will be ready to go back to your hotel.

This day after breakfast the driver will pick you up at your hotel and after a short drive to a canyon outside La Fortuna to embark on amazing adventure.

At the place, you will drive up a mountain in an open - air 4x4 truck and enjoy views of the nearby towns and the Arenal Volcano. When you reach the canyon, your tour guide will provide you with all the necessary equipment and a brief safety talk with all the instructions. Afterwards you will be led on a short hike through the gorgeous rainforest trail that provides just a taste of what you are about to experience, a once in a lifetime experience by the pulsing, wild jungle.

Keep your eyes open for a chance to see toucans, sloths, monkeys, and other exotic wildlife. When you come to the end of the trail you will dive right into Canyoning with the first and highest rappel! Your charismatic and professional tour guide will make you feel right at home and help you every step of the way. From there on, you will be entertained by a series of rappels and activities like rock climbing, the “Monkey Drop” and more.  After Canyoning, you will head back to headquarters and gardens to enjoy in a delicious organic Costa Rican lunch. Your tour guide will show you all the amazing photos they took over coffee and cookies before driving you back to your hotel.

We will transport you west onto the shore of the Pacific Ocean beach of Tamarindo for another 3 nights of luxury adventure. After arrival and check-in, you'll have time to enjoy the sea breeze, the ocean and do any optional tours or spa treatments available.

Enjoy your leisure time at the pool or swim on the beach of your all-inclusive resort. Or, if you choose to, take an optional tour of your choice or get spa services. You can also walk around town and discover what Playa Flamingo has to offer. 

During the morning after the breakfast, you will have time at leisure to relax. During the afternoon, your English-speaking tour guide will meet you in order to take to the area where you will board the Catamaran that will take you to enjoy the pacific coast. 

Silently glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, sand beaches and tropical jungles. Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink prepared and served by our crew as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor and frolic in the blue Pacific. Snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted sand beach while the ever-helpful crew prepares a feast of chicken or pasta salad, fruit, chips, Pico de Gallo, guacamole and homemade chocolate chip cookies. The Catamarans will set sail and you will hear the waves slide along the catamaran as the sunsets, illuminating the clouds left in the sky. After the tour, you guide will pick you back to you to the hotel.

We transport you back to the Liberia, Costa Rica airport for your international departure back home. Based on your location, this may be a 1 or 2 day journey that starts on Day 8 of your Bear Adventure.

International airport authorities and airlines recommend all passengers arrive at the airport 3 hours before their scheduled flight departure.
