Departure to the province of Alajuela where the Poás Volcano is located,  nestled between the mountainous forests of the central volcanic mountain range,  with one of the largest craters in the world, we will visit the coffee zone of the province of Alajuela. La Paz Waterfall  Gardens Natural Park is the most popular nature tour in the San José area with five famous waterfalls and the largest animal sanctuary in Costa Rica. It is by far the best place to see wildlife in  Costa Rica When you think of Costa Rica, you probably imagine a lush tropical jungle,  flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys,  hummingbirds, snakes, felines, and frogs. At La Paz Waterfall Gardens, you are guaranteed to see all of that and more.  With over 2.2 miles of walking trails and educational animal exhibits to enjoy, we recommend a minimum of 2 hours for your visit. However, if you want to see all the trails and fully enjoy the time you spend in the Aviary,  Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Jungle Cat  Exhibit, Frog Exhibit, Casita Experience Historic, and Trout Lake, you'll probably want to stay the whole day. During your tour of the park or at the end of it, you can enjoy a buffet lunch with various options for children and adults.
