Welcome to San Jose, Costa Rica! Meet and greet at Juan Santamaria International Airport, and transfer to your hotel in San Jose. The capital city of San José is considered one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Latin America, located in the middle of the Central Valley and the center of the country. It has popular tourist attractions such as historic buildings, museums, theaters, artisan markets, beautiful parks, shopping malls, and a varied gastronomic scene.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the province of Alajuela where the Poás Volcano is located, nestled between the mountainous forests of the central volcanic mountain range, with one of the largest craters in the world, we will visit the coffee zone of the province of Alajuela. La Paz Waterfall Gardens Natural Park is the most popular nature tour in the San José area with five famous waterfalls and the largest animal sanctuary in Costa Rica. It is by far the best place to see wildlife in Costa Rica When you think of Costa Rica, you probably imagine a lush tropical jungle, flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, hummingbirds, snakes, felines, and frogs. At La Paz Waterfall Gardens, you are guaranteed to see all of that and more. With over 2.2 miles of walking trails and educational animal exhibits to enjoy, we recommend a minimum of 2 hours for your visit. However, if you want to see all the trails and fully enjoy the time you spend in the Aviary, Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Jungle Cat Exhibit, Frog Exhibit, Casita Experience Historic, and Trout Lake, you'll probably want to stay the whole day. During your tour of the park or at the end of it, you can enjoy a buffet lunch with various options for children and adults.

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Arenal Volcano in the Northern Plains region. Majestic in its grand stature, the volcano is one of the country’s natural wonders. While the volcano is quiet these days and there are no lava eruptions, you can still see clouds of smoke or ash emanating from the top of the cinder cone. Discovering the wonderful secrets hidden in this forest means finding a wildlife sanctuary; the high density of biodiversity makes our trails a unique place for observing species spotted along the way. Our natural history expert guides will accompany you in discovering the marvelous secrets hidden in this wildlife sanctuary we call rainforest. Having a specialist guide means visitors will acquire vast knowledge of the fauna inhabiting the reserve and will be able to watch several species from the forest canopy, undergrowth, and floor
A delicious typical breakfast awaits you to start the day at the hotel, in the morning we will have a lot of fun and adventure. It begins with the Sky Tram a cable car ride that rises gently through the tropical jungle, offering endless views during the ride in the gondolas you will be accompanied by a bilingual guide, and there is the possibility of stopping the cable car at any time to capture magnificent photographs, observe birds and tropical forest species, you will arrive at the observation deck with fantastic views of the volcano and the lake, then we will do SkyTrek is a zip line tour, to download adrenaline to the maximum. Fly along almost two miles (3 km) of cables, with speeds of more than 60 km per hour and with wonderful views of the rainforest, the volcano, and Lake Arenal. Near the reception are the orchid and butterfly gardens so save a little more time to visit them without additional charges these are courtesy of the company.

Manuel Antonio National Park area is often called a natural jewel for its picturesque beauty and abundant wildlife diversity. It is one of the smallest parks, yet it is the most visited for its beautiful beaches. We will live the experience of the tropical forest with the ATV tour, a ride full of adrenaline something to share with all your friends later.
The Savegre River provides Class II, III, and IV rapids that are manageable know the river in and out, so they will at some points give you the chance to jump in the water if you want to and just float with the river - then you really can feel the power of the river in a safely and magically way. The guides always have something up their sleeves that will surprise you in the best way and put a smile on your face (if you do not already have one). Enjoy some delicious fruits that the guides provide for you. Along the river rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, king mackerels, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the primary tropical rainforest.
In the morning, you’ll walk the trails in the Manuel Antonio National Park. There are several trails for walking with many viewpoints, and there is a high probability of seeing animals in their natural habitat. At various points, the trails branch off and lead to four separate beaches: Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondida, and Playita, where you can swim in crystal clear, warm water
