We had a great time! We would have liked some beach time, perhaps being able to visit both coasts. Jose and Sergio were excellent.

Fantastic trip! A few hiccups, which we can imagine, happen along the way on trips like these. Our third hotel destination was extremely disappointing, and definitely not up to the standard of what we paid for . Susan Mahr and our guide Marguerita were exceptional people to travel with and very knowledgeable. Loved the smaller group to travel with and such great people! Great food and learned so much, really didn’t want to come home. Will definitely go back!

Saw some nice public and private gardens. Learned about Costa Rica agriculture ie chocolate, sugar cane and coffee culture Saw richness of bird life here. Food was plentiful and varied in it's deliciousness. Rode in a nice van with air conditioning though weather was not so hot in Jan 2023. Hotels also varied in charm but for the most part were comfortable. Favorite hotel was Hotel Bougainvillea. Guide, Margarita was Spectacular. Driver, Esteban was excellent driver.
