After breakfast, we'll head out to see how oxcarts are made and painted, traditionally used for transporting coffee beans and other crops. The vivid handpainted designs will surely impress. We'll then head to a nearby coffee farm to get a better understanding of how one of our favorite beverages is made and taste some! We'll lunch on our way to our accomodations for the night. Enjoy what the property has to offer and soak in the thermal pools.

After a terrific breakfast, we'll take a short ride around the volcano for an adrenaline-fueled morning ziplining with some of the best views around. In the afternoon, you'll get your chance to soak up some restorative time in the thermal springs. In the evening, you'll get the opportunity to try your hand at making some traditional Costa Rican food in a cooking class.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll travel to the Pacific Coast for a couple of days relaxing at the beach. On the way, we'll take a boat ride to see some pretty amazing wildlife. Grab your first glimpse of a sunset on the Pacific.

With plenty of guidance from us, you'll have the day to explore the local national park and soak up some sun along the beach. If the beach isn't your speed there are plenty of other nearby options from waterfalls, butterfly gardens, and more.

Get a different perspective of this stunning part of the coast from the water. You'll enjoy a morning catamaran ride. During this season, if you're lucky, you might be able to catch a glimpse of passing whales. As group we'll grab some cocktails before dinner.

In the morning, we'll head back to the Central Valley and grab lunch along the way. After getting checked in to our hotel, we will get a short walking tour to get you oriented to the capital city. Have a moment to freshen up and then we'll grab dinner as a group.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a walking tour of the capital city, San José. We'll take you to some of the best spots around and add some historical context. You'll have plenty of time to check out the local museums and get a glimpse of daily life. In the evening, we will have one last farewell dinner to celebrate the trip.
