We believe it is the combination of these facts and having the friendliest people we have come across - You can never get tired of "Tico's" smiles and their favourite phrase: “Pura Vida”.

Join us and discover the true meaning of “Pura Vida” by talking to the locals at a Sunday farmer's market, swimming in hidden waterfalls and walking virgin beaches surrounded by rainforest. Go white-water rafting in the cleanest river in Central America, learn about coffee production at an eco-farm in the central Valley and witness the majestic Arenal Volcano while hiking with a local guide. We will make sure you also have the chance to practise yoga, learn the basics of surfing and give something back to the community by taking part in activities organized by local NGO’s. Sunsets, fauna & flora and connecting with like-minded people are some other ingredients we will be adding to the mix.

• Have an introduction to surfing in one of the world's top destination for this sport. Alternatively, join a yoga class by the Pacific Ocean and forget about the mundane
• Try different local dishes at our favourite family-owned places. From the freshest ceviche, to "chifrijo" (join us and find out what it is) and Caribbean delicacies like "rondón" and "patí".
• Experience a Sunday morning farmers market in the tropics. Talk to the locals, buy the sweetest and freshest fruit you will ever try and sit down for a "cafe chorreado" (traditionally brewed coffee) and pupusas or chorreadas (curious eh?).
• Give something back to the community that is hosting you by joining a local NGO on their daily activities. Discover Costa Rica's daily life, interact with "Ticos" and practise your Spanish!
• Be prepared to see macaws, turtles, crocodiles, monkeys, butterflies, sloths, toucans, spiders and many other inhabitants of Costa Rica in their natural habitats.
