On this 5 day/4 night retreat, we will escape the bustling congestion of Quito to discover a different way of life.  Nestled in the Andes just North of Quito is the quiet village of Yunguilla where families have banded together to preserve thousands of hectares of cloud forest.  

While staying in this picturesque community, we will have the opportunity to help with reforestation projects, organic gardening, cheese & marmalade making, and other service projects, depending on the needs of the community.  We will also get the chance to hike along ancient, pre-Incan trails, camp above the clouds, cook traditional, home-grown food, milk the cows, play games with the local kids, and make crafts using recycled and natural materials.
