DIG INTO THE DENSE TROPICAL JUNGLES OF SANTO DOMINGO DE LOS TSACHILAS, LEARN ABOUT THE MYSTICISM AND WAY OF LIFE OF AN IMPORTANT ECUADORIAN INDIGENOUS GROUP

Program focus: Earth's climates, weather patterns in different areas of Ecuador, indigenous peoples, team building, outdoor adventure, traditions and cultures based on narratives 

On this 5 day/4 night retreat, we will explore a new climate zone only a few hours away from Quito.  About 20 kilometers from Santo Domingo towards the coast lies the unique communities of the Tsachila, of which  only 7 communities remain intact.  

While living alongside one of the indigenous communities of the Tsachila, we will have the opportunity to help with sustainability projects, agriculture, traditional building, and/or other service projects, depending on the needs of the people.  We will also get the chance to learn about the tropical rainforests and their medicinal properties, traditional fishing, camp under the canopy, enjoy authentic meals, and participate in traditional ceremonies.
