It was the best experience of my trip around Ecuador. This magnificent volcano is a must see. The national park is so well kept and safe. And the views and landscapes are so serene and gorgeous. We made it to the Basecamp at 4800 Mt and our guide made sure we were all doing OK while hiking up the trail to Basecamp. I can confidently say we all had an unforgettable experience. Do keep in mind sometimes the weather will not allow for pictures of the volcano, in our case we were blessed as the skies cleared up as we were ascending and we got to see Cotopaxi in all its glory. The hike is an, intermediate level. Make sure you wear a knitted cap as it gets really windy and sunglasses to protect you from the glare. Other than that. Just embrace it. Loved it!

Our trip was excellently planned! We chose a private tour for our family of 7. Given the age differences (senior citizens, young adults and pre-teen kids), it was a challenge to make sure everyone enjoyed the day, but the team at Ecuador Family Tours was ready for the challenge. Gabby was in constant communication and helped plan an itinerary that made everyone's day in Quito a fabulous one! Definitely would recommend them.

Gabby and her family were so sweet and professional! Johnny did all the transfers from airport to hotel and back, even picking us up "after hours" at a restaurant to make sure we returned safely to our hotel. Gabby is an extremely educated and interesting guide who treats her clients like family, giving them insight into all aspects of whatever tours she's arranged and saving them money wherever it's possible. Can't say enough about Ecuador Family Tours!

Gabby and Johnny were great hosts! They took great care to ensure we enjoyed Quito and the surrounding area. Gaby was very knowledgeable and flexible, Johnny was a cautious driver. Thanks for everything!

Gabby is super nice and we have nothing but praise for her and her agency. Galapagos is a very special place. In general, we are happy with our trip. The ship was nice, as was the crew, and the guides are very knowledgeable. There were some downsides, but they should have nothing to do with Gabby. 1. One of the passangers got positive with covid, which lost us activities for one afternoon. However, we do not consider this a fault of the operator, just bad luck. 2. This we however did not like: hygiene conditions could be better. There was a widespread illness among many passangers, us also, that included vomiting, diarrhea, etc. It had nothing to do with sea sickness. For us, it appeared on our 10th day, and we had no previous issues. We strongly suspect the origin is food. At least once the potatoes were undercooked. And this is to say nothing against the cook in particular. It is not easy to work in such a small kitchen. We do consider however that the activities we lost due to this food poisoning are the fault of the operator. 3. We noticed at least once that our dirty towels were laid on our beds as they were new ones. Perhaps by mistake. 4. In our cabin, there was always some water below the bed, splashing around with the swaying of the ship. We warned of this once, but it didn't change. 5. Our itinerary was changed in a way that Kicker’s Rock snorkel was replaced with beach snorkeling with no good reason. We asked the guide why, and he just said that others snorkel, but we will not. This was a big disappointment as this snorkel is renowned in Galapagos. All in all, it was not a perfect trip due to food poisoning and leaving out Kicker’sRock, but other things were mostly up there and we were satisfied with them.

Wow, Gabby and Johnny are incredible. They helped us plan a last minute Galapagos and Quito trip, and we couldn't have been happier. We did the Quilotoa tour, Quito City tour, and Mindo Forest tour with them. They truly can do it all - transportation, food, day trips, etc. They even picked us up from the airport to take us to our hotel so we didn't have to worry about finding a taxi/Uber late at night. You can't go wrong having them handle your itinerary - they are locals and great people!
