Our ascent to the summit will begin at approximately 1:00 am and will take us five hours to reach the top. At the top we can take pictures. The return last approximately two to three hours to the refuge.  

Departure to Baños around 12:00 hrs. On the way we will make a stop for lunch, and we will get to rest in Baños (you can choose the lodging point).

FOOD B/L/- 

After a delicious breakfast, we will have a 2-hour walk in the Quilotoa Lake crater,

then we will rest and have lunch. Later, we will go to Riobamba to spend the

Overnight at your hotel (Hacienda Abraspungo or similar).

LUNCH: B/L/D

We will leave Riobamba around 10:00 am. In our private 4x4 vehicle we will go to the entrance to the Chimborazo reserve to start our ascent. Then we will go to the first refuge that is at 4800 meters above sea level and then walk 200 meters to the second refuge that is at 5000 meters above sea level. Then we will have an appetizing box lunch, and we will receive a short talk about all the safety precautions and climbing techniques that the guides can give us. We will have dinner at 6:00 pm and then go to rest until 12:00 am for the climb. 

FOOD: B/L/D

We will wake up at midnight and have breakfast, and then we will climb Whymper Peak; which is at 6,310 meters above sea level. It will take us approximately 7-8 hours to reach this peak; but when we arrive, it will be worth the effort, you will be able to have a unique view of all the Andes. It will take us around 3-4 hours to get back to the shelter where we will collect all our gear and head back to our car.
