Diego and his team of drivers and mountain guides were excellent. They picked our team of (4) up from our respective hotels in Quito and drove us out the Hostel de Montanero in Machachi. The rooms are double occupancy, and they are very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The hostel offers a nice breakfast service in the morning, and there is a local laundry a few blocks from the hostel. Diego also rented the technical gear for the trip, to include ice axe, crampons, helmet, and harness. The mountain guides speak English very well and are accommodating to the client requests. The hike to Pasochoa mountain was a great experience together with Guide and owner Diego. Great views on Cotopaxi and other volcanos around the "valley of 9 volcans". Diego speaks good English, has a comfortable car to receive the starting point and good explanation what is needed etc.
