Andeanface is an Ecuadorian-Dutch mountaineering and trekking company. As direct operators we mainly specialise in climbing & trekking in Ecuador, including climbing Cotopaxi and climbing Chimborazo. We also provide logistic support for expeditions in Ecuador. Last but not least we co-ordinate voluntary work programs in order to help the street children of our country. Our name refers not only to the mountain faces, but also to the faces of the children of the Andes.

We had a great time in the Andean Cordillera. Camilo was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable in both culture and monitoring. He is fun to be with, and we had long talks about life, politics and photography We liked the food and the accommodation. We had a joyful vacation.

Extraordinary trip… overall …. camping aspect was dismal! The accommodation apart from this was great. Food generally good and the climbing leadership superb. Abraham proved to be an excellent guide with phenomenal experience and read our group to the tee! Well done Andeanface

We came in from Atlanta, Georgia, and were paired with Abraham. He did a great job setting the pace for us and guiding us on our successful summit adventure of Cotopaxi. Awesome experience! He was very patient with us allowing us to take pictures afterwards as well. 10/10.

Excellent trip to Cotopaxi (5 days / 4 nights). We had two acclimatization hikes before Cotopaxi (Corazon and Illiniza Norte). Our guide Christian took very good care of us. Accomodation was great and also the food. Between the hikes we stayed in beautiful lodges allowing to rest properly. Also the preparation of the tour was good: we received an extensive list of gear needed and all the necessary information. Climbing gear (helmet, harness, ice axe, etc) was provided so that we didn't have to carry it from Europe. Definitely recommended.

Pablo was an incredible guide and was such a pleasure to be able to explore Ecuador with. He has a deep well of knowledge, good humor, and was either friends or fast friends with everyone we met on our travels. I would recommend Andean Face and Pablo as a guide for anyone traveling in Ecuador!

Based on the company's stellar online reviews, I chose Andeanface to climb mountains around Quito, and I was not disappointed. Javier, from Andeanface, was quick to respond and helped brainstorm which mountains would be most adapted for my skill level, leading to an itinerary starting with two preparatory climbs by myself, then Iliniza North, and Cayambe, over 4 days. My guide, Marco, was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and attentive to details: I couldn't have asked for a better guide for the experience, which exceeded all of my expectations. I was especially happy with Marco's focus on safety. Food, transportation, logistics, and accommodations were great. I highly recommend Andeanface!
