Cotopaxi National Park is the second most visited natural attraction in Ecuador, after the Galapagos Islands. Imagine viewing the second-highest volcano, at a height of 5897 metres above sea level, up close! Now add a visit to an old hacienda and to see the most beautiful roses in the world. What a spectacular combination!
Cotopaxi Volcano is reached via a very interesting two-hour drive to 3800 metres above sea level (12500 ft ASL), where we will see a glacial lagoon and, weather permitting, some surrounding volcanoes. The hike up to the shelter takes from 45 minutes to one hour and will be, most probably, the highest or one of the highest places you have ever visited! Time to stamp your passport!
To continue with this unique visit, we will go back in time to a magical seventeenth-century hacienda which is steeped in history. The tour also includes a visit to one of Ecuador’s famous rose farms, where you’ll be amazed by the massive and picturesque roses. Our roses are renowned as the best in the world!
