Day 1. Around 50 km away south from Quito, is the impressive Cotopaxi Volcano, considered one of the world’s highest active volcanoes.
Our Cotopaxi Volcano Full Day Tour Hike & Bike will start from Quito at 07:00 am. Our private transportation will pick you up from your hotel and then We are going to stop in the south part of Quito to take a really amazing panoramic view of Quito city from a viewpoint. We will continue to the Cotopaxi Nation Park and stop again in the main entrance. Here we are going to register our visit in. An interpretation center will show us how important is preserve this area. We will start our Cotopaxi hike & bike tour driving to get at 4000msnm in the Limpiopungo Lagoon for watching some birds as CaraCara, Andean Coot, Andean Lapwing, wildlife of the paramo region and native plants. Hiking around 1:30 hours approximately. It will be our first hike (option 1) low difficulty. The main purpose is to get to the refuge at 4864msnm, so we are going to hike to get over there. (Option 2) medium difficulty. Returning to the parking lot, we will take our bikes and start the adventures downhill to the limpiopungo lagoon. Very delicious box lunch is waiting for us in the lagoon.

Afterward, we are going back to the hotel at 16.30pm. End of our Cotopaxi Volcano Full Day Tour Hike & Bike
