This morning, enjoy breakfast on your own time, as we have a relaxed morning today.

We’ll head out to a nearby cooking school to learn how to make some cosy Christmas time dishes. We’ll have our turn to try some recipes that combine local produce and English traditions. 

Enjoy lunch together afterwards, as we have a countryside feast together over our creations.

Enjoy some time to shop, sit over a pot of tea, or possibly do a spa visit for a treatment. (Options will be provided closer to the trip, for those interested in booking something!)

This evening, we’ll enjoy some drinks together in a country pub before splitting off for dinner on our own In small groups.

This morning, grab a quick bite for breakfast before we head out for another exciting day.

This morning, we head to Blenheim Palace. The gorgeous home of the Duke of Malborough- dressed in all of its Christmas glory. Our visit will include the staterooms in their Christmas decor, as well as the chance to enjoy the Christmas Market on the palace grounds.

Afterwards, we head to a cosy country pub along the river for lunch together to spend some time warming up after wandering the estate.

This afternoon, enjoy some time visitng the iconic city of Oxford. This quaint university city has seen world leaders on its streets for over a millenium, and the feeling at Christmas is perfectly charming. 

Here you’ll get a chance to visit Christ Church college (entry included), shop along the high street for antiques and Christmas treats, and get dinner on your own in town before driving back together. 

After breakfast, we’ll head to the nearby town of Stow-on-the-Wold. Known for it’s charming cafes and architecture, this is one of the most picturesque spots in the Cotswolds. 

Enjoy time to explore the little village on your own or venture out for a country walk through the surrounding fields. You can make the trek from Stow-on-the-Wold to the charming hamlets of Upper & Lower Slaughter.

There will be two pick up times today for those wanting to go back earlier, and a later one for those wishing to enjoy the countryside a bit longer on a country walk.

This evening, we’ll have our own little trivia night over dinner. Bring your best pop culture knowledge and silly random facts… there are prizes to be won!

We’ll have an early start today, as we head north!

Our first stop is Chatsworth House. Here we’ll get to enjoy the gorgeous estate used for the setting of Pemberly in the movie, Pride & Predjudice. Together, we’ll have lunch on the grounds and have a chance to visit the splendidly decorated rooms. 

Afterwards, we head on to the city of York. Upon arrival, we’ll check in and then head into the city centre.

For those feeling up for a quick walking tour, we’ll have a guide to meet us to do a one hour overview of this ancient city. 

Dinner tonight will be on your own in York. Enjoy the evening in the Christmas market with new friends or one of the warm pubs around town.

This morning, we will meet in the city centre at the famous York Minster. Here we’ll have entry in to see the famous medieval church together. 

Afterwards, the afternoon is free for lunch on your own or shopping in the iconic streets in town. Don’t miss the chance to have afternoon tea at Betty’s while you’re there. (We recommend pre-booking!)

This evening, we’ll have our farewell dinner. Come dressed in your Christmas best! The sparklier, the better!

Aftewards, come for optional drinks together. Or head up to pack your bags!

This morning is the conclusion of official trip activities. 

We will head back to London via train, and you’ll have your choice of what time you’d like to depart. One will be on an early direct train. The second choice will be around lunch time, for those wishing to sleep a bit later.

Please note: These train times will be announced once official timetables are released, but please plan for the earliest arrival to central London to be at approximately 10am. 

For those wishing to continue on, we will offer a 2 night extension to Edinburgh. This will include: a train ticket from York to Edinburgh, 2 nights in a cute hotel near the historic city centre, breakfast daily, entrance to the Edinburgh Castle, and afternoon tea. If you’d like to add this on, please do so when booking.
