Ok Girls, put on your walking boots, pack your credit cards and lets escape to the country for a fun weekend of shopping, eating and lots of laughter.  

Several years of droughts,  bushfires and 2 years of the Covid 19 pandemic has forced many of these country businesses to either reduce their trading  hours and days  or simply close up shop.

If shopping for homewares, women's clothing, antiques/bric &brac and the odd quirky item sounds attractive then come along either by yourself or bring a girl friend.  

To keep the costs low ( so you have more $$$ to spend) we will be self-driving or preferably carpooling over the 3 days between each town.   

The town of Scone is the starting point where we will meet at The Cottage for brunch/Morning Tea and a spot of shopping before we convoy north and explore the boutique shops & cafes of Murrurundi, Willowtree, Gunnedah, Tamworth & Nundle over the weekend.

9am Meet at The Cottage in SCONE for breakfast/Brunch

La Chikky  - Great spot to shop and grab  coffee before we head off to Gunnedah to Check-in to our accommodation and relax before we head down the road for dinner at Courtyard Hotel.

Im looking at a 2 hour art workshop for those that would like a little afternoon of  craft. For everyone else we will then head off to Tamworth. 

Last visit a lot of the shops had closed . But I know everyone has reopened and Tamworth is ready for visitors.

Country Coastal Homewares  was a favourite of many last trip, She now has a shop in town and its gorgeous.

After breakfast we make our way to Nundle. 

This beautiful little town is home to many local handicrafts, the famous Nundle Wool mill, Odgers  & Macellans, cute little antique and quirky shops. 

Im hoping the donut van is still set up in town-YUM!!

Lunch will be at the Old Nundle Peel Inn.

Farewell at approx 1pm and then head home.
