Sandals South Coast is nestled in the south-west coast of Jamaica and is only approximately 90km and 75 minutes from the Sangster International Airport and 60 minutes from Negril, one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations.  

Participants are welcome to purchase extensions nights at the group program rate, from three (3) days prior until three (3) days after the official program dates (blackout dates may apply). Extension reservations must be paid prior to the group’s arrival. Extension reservations will be confirmed based on availability and will be bound by the same cancellation policies as the group.

Cancellation Policy (Rooms, Room Nights or Guests):

91 days or more prior to arrival date: no fee

90 to 75 days prior to arrival date: $500 cancellation fee

74 - 46 days prior to group’s arrival date: 50% of full room cost for any cancellation.

45 days or less prior to arrival date: 100% penalty of the full room.

Force Majeure:

The performance of this agreement by either party is subject to acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulation, disaster,  disease outbreak, fire, strikes, civil disorder or other similar cause beyond the control of the parties making it unreasonable, illegal, impossible or inadvisable or unsafe to travel or to hold the meeting/convention or provide the facility. This agreement may be suspended for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from one party to the other provided such notice is given promptly following the force majeure event that gives rise to such suspension. In the event of suspension under this section as a result of Force Majeure, it is agreed that both parties will work toward a mutually agreeable resolution to rebook the suspended program within three months of suspension and hold said program within 12 months from date of suspension. In the event that the circumstances responsible for the Force Majeure persist making it unreasonable, illegal, impossible or inadvisable to hold your event or provide the facility for an extended period, either party may cancel the booking and Unique Travel Corp. will reimburse all payments made by the Group under this agreement made up to the time of the cancellation and there will be no further claims between the parties regarding the termination.

Compliance With Government Entities:

Unique, its affiliates, and parent as well as the Resort operators and related entities shall have the right to comply

with any and all orders, recommendations, or directions whatsoever given by any government entity or by persons

purporting to act with such authority, and such compliance shall not be deemed a breach of the Agreement or any

agreement entitling the guests to assert any claim for liability, compensation or refund.

Travel Safety Warning:

Due to the fact that travel and tourism are constantly in a state of flux, Group shall advise their

member/participants to consult the U.S. State Department’s website at travel.gov and enter the name of the country(ies) that they plan to visit for the latest information concerning traveler safety, security, and health advisories. Unique further suggests that the Group does this prior to the purchase of travel. Non-U.S. citizens/residents are advised to consult their nation’s travel safety website and are welcome to consult the US government website.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER:

THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FOR THE EXCLUSIVE RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES THROUGH INDIVIDUAL LEGAL ACTIONAND  SUPERSEDES ANY LAW ENTITLING GUEST TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER PRECLUDES GUEST FROM PARTICIPATING IN OR BEING REPRESENTED IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION REGARDING ANY CLAIM BROUGHT UNDER AS A RESULT OF THIS AGREEMENT. EVEN IF APPLICABLE LAW PROVIDES OTHERWISE, GUEST AGREES THAT ANY ARBITRATION OR LAWSUIT AGAINST UNIQUE WHATSOEVER SHALL BELITI GATED BY GUEST INDIVIDUALLY AND NOT AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OR AS PART OF A CLASS ACTION, AND GUEST EXPRESSLY AGREES TO WAIVE AUTHORITY TO ARBITRATE CLAIMS ON A CLASS ACTION BASIS. IF GUEST'S CLAIM IS SUBJECT TO LEGAL PROCEEDING AS PRESCRIBED IN THE FORUM SELECTION AND CHOICE OF LAW SECTIONS OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS POSTED ON THE SANDALS RESORTS WEBSITES THE GUEST FURTHER

AGREES AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE CLASS ACTION WAIVER IS MATERIAL AND ESSENTIAL TO THE

PROCEEDING OF ANY DISPUTES BETWEEN THE PARTIES AND IS NON-SEVERABLE FROM THE AGREEMENT TO ANY CLAIMS HEREIN. THE VALIDITY AND EFFECT OF THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER MAY BE DETERMINED ONLY BY A JUDGE OR COURT OF LAW. GUEST AGREES THAT THIS SECTION SHALL NOT BE SEVERABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FROM THE FORUM SELECTION AND CHOICE OF LAW PROVISION SET FORTH IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS POSTED ON THE SANDALS WEBSITES. Guest agrees that the parties referenced in the FORUM SELECTION AND CHOICE OF LAW PROVISIONS IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS that may be the subject of any claim by Guest can receive immediate judicial assistance to enforce this class action waiver.

Code of Conduct:

Guests shall behave appropriately and with discretion at all times, respectful of the Hotel environment and staff, as well as of other guests. Respect of all event and resort staff is expected and no harassment will be tolerated. The facilities of the Resort are for the enjoyment of all guests. To this end, care shall be taken to respect the infrastructure. In particular, furniture shall not be moved, and nothing may be fixed to furniture or walls without the prior approval of resort management. In case of the violation of this code of conduct by the Group or any member(s) of the Group, the Group or that member(s) of the Group will be asked to leave the Resort forthwith

and the remaining nights of the accommodations will be cancelled at no refund.
