A continental style breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, & bacon, accompanied by a Starbucks iced coffee bar will begin at 8:30am. No need to get dolled up for the day because we are heading down the mountain to The Banner Elk Greenway & Tate-Evans park to stretch our legs & team up for a game of kickball ~ but don't worry, this is totally optional, we need some cheerleaders & referees on the side lines too!

Lunch, a make your own sandwich bar (featuring some pretty famous chicken salad & other lunch meats), will be brought down to us in the park so we can keep enjoying the fresh air & cool breeze ~ this will be a great time for a photo op as well if you do decide to get dolled up for the day!

After awhile, we'll head back up to house #1 for the following activities:

~ Arts & Crafts ~ make your own clay earrings (led by Rebecca with @theplussideofme) or we'll have canvases with paints & easels set up on the back porch if you'd like a less detail oriented activity

~ Make your own Charcuterie Board ~ we'll have all the fixings for you to put together a fine masterpiece to enjoy with an afternoon glass of wine on the back porch while taking in the breathtaking mountain views

~ Plus-size Clothing Swap ~ we'll have gathered everyone's clothing swap items by now, hung them up for you in one location organized by size so you can get swapping for some fresh new clothing pieces for your wardrobe

***If the above activities aren't your speed you are more than welcome to head back to your room or hit up the hot tubs in either house or sauna in house #2 ~ remember, everything over the weekend is completely optional!

We're going to fire up the grill for dinner ~ the cookout will begin around 6:30 with hotdogs, hamburgers, & a BBQ pulled pork option (duh, we're in NC baby!). 

After dinner we will wind down with a Spa Night complete with face, under eye, & lip masks with an Ice Cream bar for dessert at house #2! Spend the rest of the night relaxing in the hot tub & sauna but be sure to call it a night early enough to get all your beauty rest because tomorrow we are go out on the town!

Take your time getting ready this morning, brunch starts at 10:30 ~ an array of pancakes (choose your own toppings), western style omelets, muffins, danishes, sausage & bacon with mimosas & our Starbucks iced coffee bar ~ YUM!

After lunch we will caravan down the mountain to a local winery for individual mini-session photo shoots with our Cooper Road Collection photographer ~ a few days later you will be emailed a link to your edited photos to view on an online gallery of your own! Don't be shy girlfriend, get those headshots you've been putting off or simply get content for your social media ~ you're gorgeous so hop in front of the camera & have fun!

Before & after your mini-session enjoy a glass of wine and brick oven pizza while taking in the views of the winery & chatting with your new found friends! Wine tasting & lunch at the winery are not included in the price of the retreat, so if those aren't your faves just hangout until all the mini-sessions are done because then there's free time!

This afternoon is totally wide open for your pleasure! We will have a list of suggested places & restaurants to check out if that's your thing, or you can keep enjoying the winery because live music starts at 3! We will also have snacks set up back at house #1 with board games & a s'mores bar on the back porch!

We will convene back at house #1 at 5:30 for some group conversation on plus size topics (throughout the retreat we will have baskets set up in both homes for you to submit anonymous questions or topics for us to answer or discuss during this group conversation). This will also be a time for networking with your new found friends!

Dinner will be a spread of various pastas with ground beef or chicken, salad, and bread with cheesecake & s'mores for dessert!

After dinner head back to your respective house for some more relaxation & downtime in the hot tub while you start packing for your departure in the morning!

Take your time packing up this morning before your drive back down the mountain. A continental breakfast (cereal, muffins, bagels, danishes, etc.) & Starbucks iced coffee bar will be set up from 7:30 - 9:30 for you to grab & go or sit down & hangout with the ladies who are still around!

Checkout will be at 10:30.
