Join us as we come together for a different kind of Knitting Retreat. We will focus on mindfulness, reflection, connection to our group, creativity and service work. Our first workshop will open our Knitting Circle and connect us through our knitting. The second workshop focuses on Co-Creation, a sort of Group Design Lab. Third, we will introduce some options of charitable knitting and putting all of your goodness and positivity into your work.
We will gather at the lovely Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, Vermont for our intentionally cozy winter weekend! You will leave with a new community, expanded confidence, the ability to stretch yourself into going further with your knitting and knowing yourself a little bit better!
Emily Taradash is a life coach, serial creative performer and an avid knitter. Her passion for performing, knitting and sewing inspired her to study Costume Design, completing a BA from the University of Vermont and an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Over her 16 year career, Emily worked on over 100 shows in New York City, across the US and Canada, teaching in private schools, colleges and professional theatres-- and then the pandemic hit and all of her shows were canceled! After teaching throughout the pandemic, she started her life coaching business in 2021 and loves supporting adults to fully realize their creative gifts, take risks, and have fun in the process. Emily is thrilled to collaborate with Peace Tree Fiber Adventures to offer a cozy, hygge knitting experience where participants can stretch their design skills, listen to their intuition and make new friends in a relaxed, supportive community.
