Got so much more out of this trip than I expected! Emily and Marlee have curated the most beautiful and memorable experience. Be ready to push yourself and physically and emotionally! Such a beautiful experience. 

I had the best time on this well organized retreat. I would absolutely go again! My only suggestion is I wonder if there are mosquito nets that could be added to the beds as I had some bites overnight. Other than that, fabulous experience!

Such a fantastic experience! I've been raving about it to everyone I talk to. If you're considering it, don't hesitate. It was the perfect mix of activities and downtime, plus a real inside look at local life in Ecuador. 

It was an amazing and life changing experience. I would definitely recommend this trip to connect with people and nature, but also with our inner selves and creativity in all its forms!!!

Sometimes it’s just buried beneath screen time and our to do lists.&nbsp; Our trips are designed to wake up your creative spirit. We get our hands dirty creating alongside local artisans and we take a step back to reflect on creativity in our day to day lives.&nbsp; This isn’t just a retreat… This is a deep dive into traditional crafts, connection to the earth and our innate, creative magic as women.

The Mission

Flight Info:Best airport:&nbsp;Quito Mariscal Sucre International AirportPick up time:&nbsp;We will offer pick up from Quito area (<a target="_blank" href="http://hosteriaairportgarden.com/">Hosteria Airport Garden Hotel</a>) Saturday morning at 9am. We recommend arriving to Quito Friday night and staying&nbsp;nearby.&nbsp;Here are some&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/110GhRIL-3gy_NYWrkV9Py4JYdUPEcTTK4SItdrJ45Ws/edit">recommendations for places to stay in and around Quito.</a>&nbsp;For return flights, we will drop off in Quito around 12:30 PM on the following Friday. We recommend booking departing flights around 2:00 PM or later. **If these transport times don't line up with the flights you find, you are able to book your own transfer from San Pablo Lake (trip start and end) to Quito. This journey is about 1.5 hours and costs around $60.

Make Your Own Wallet -&nbsp;An afternoon visit to our leathersmith’s home studio for a tour, wallet workshop and conversation surrounding the impacts of leather. Make Your Own Hat -&nbsp;We’ll stop by our fifth-generation hat partner’s home to understand how hats are made and to make one for ourselves. Natural Dying -&nbsp;We’ll spend a few hours hanging out and working alongside our artisan partners to create our own batch of natural dyes. BYOT (bring your own t-shirt or fabric!) Understand Our Process -&nbsp;You might have seen how much work goes into our plant-fiber&nbsp;bags; We’ll join our artisan partners on the cactus farm (with beautiful views!) to see how we create cabuya, the cactus fiber we use in our bags. plus...
