There is nothing more empowering than being with a group of women who enjoy life, have a sense of fun, care for each other and love to surf! This was my 3rd retreat with WSS & it did not disappoint! The beautiful tropical location, the food, the staff, the amazing surf guides & the activities. In the surf I felt safe & supported by both the local guides & Mel & Helena But most of all the community of amazing women that come together for these trips & the lifelong friendships formed. If you have been thinking about a retreat with WSS stop thinking & book it!

Such a beautiful trip. Wonderful women, wonderful coaches, incredible food from the amazing chef Ashleigh and such gorgeous accommodation! I took some valuable feedback from the surf coaches on this trip that we did some private lessons with. They were so helpful and gave me such good advice on catching waves in big crowds, pushing past my hesitation points, wave navigating and positioning. The simplest things that are SO helpful! I loved the video analysis where the girls gave great feedback on how to improve my cross step technique. So nice to be able to learn more even after 15 years of surfing! Thank you girls, I had the best time :)

Four friends and I attended the Crescent Head Retreat in March. We were a mix of beginners through to advanced level surfers. We had rain and wind for half of the 4 day retreat but that didn’t dampen the fun!! Well organised, knowledgeable staff, great accommodation…..and exquisite food!! For me, it wasn’t so much about improving my surfing, but about being with like-minded people, enjoying the ocean together in rain or sun, and having lots of laughs!
