About this trip
Embark on our 8 day, 7 night private MedTreks yacht cruise through Croatia’s enchanting Dalmatian coastline next September! An exclusive itinerary just for our group - we will explore the most famous sites of Croatia’s spectacular archipelago, while discovery hidden gems along the way. Each day we will arrive to a new destination - exploring medieval cities bursting with culture and history, from the historic charm of Split to the ancient walls of Dubrovnik, and the idyllic islands of Hvar, Korčula, and Bol in between. Anchoring in secluded coves, you will enjoy swimming, snorkeling and kayaking the crystal warm waters of the Adriatic sea. This private yacht cruise includes a 10 hr Global Health Seminar accredited for Category 1 CME for physicians, nurses, NPs/PAs, taught by the original owners and faculty of MedTreks. Loved my two nights in Quito. The tour with Felipe was excellent. Great sights, yummy foods, and an unforgettable experience. Old Town was very charming and I would absolutely love to visit again!

This trip was absolutely life-changing for me. Having everything set up ahead of time was such a huge relief, especially since I had to squeeze it into my crazy busy schedule. Ari was amazing—she answered all my pre-trip questions so quickly and was such a great support during the trip itself.
I met an awesome group of people, and our guide was fantastic. Their love for the Galapagos really shone through and made the experience so much more meaningful. The crew and accommodations on the ship were great, and snorkeling and hiking alongside the animals was like living in a dream—I never thought I’d get to do something like that. And being able to also obtain CME with Sarah while on such a remarkable trip was also awesome!
I’m so grateful for the opportunity and how perfectly everything was planned. I’m already looking forward to booking more trips with MedTreks!

This was an incredible - once in a lifetime trip. Every detail was perfect and worry free. The yacht was amazing and the crew was accommodating to every single thing we needed. The local guide that showed us around the Galapagos Islands was incredible - so knowledgable and caring. We saw so many animals and had a fantastic time interacting with them in their natural environment. So many options for activities, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking - it was so easy to be active or relax. The ability to get your WL:MP (formerly AWLS) while in this incredible environment makes it so much more interesting and engaging. Love it!

This was my first trip with Medtreks, and it won't be my last. I did the CME portion which was so much fun, so interesting, and a really amazing experience. The Galapagos?....well, what can I say. Everything was amazing, the yacht, the itinerary, the food, the other med-trekkers and our guide and crew. It was lovely to meet Ari, and Sarah our wilderness med guru was fantastic. I had so much fun and came back to clinic this week smiling from ear to ear. I look forward to another adventure, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Cannot say enough amazing things about Ari and the MedTreks International experience!!
I travelled to Morocco in November on a MedTreks trip and I am still so blown away reflecting on not only our travels, but the incredible people I met along the way, and the heart behind this company.
I'll start by saying WOW ~ the trip was incredible!! Ari is an exceptional guide and curated the most thoughtful and well-rounded trip. I truly felt immersed in the culture and learned so much about Morocco. It is a country so unique and unlike anywhere I've ever traveled before. Trip highlights were the sunset camel ride in the Sahara, a tagine cooking class, and of course the hamam spa day! All of the food was EXCELLENT, and our accommodations were fantastic. We were given a thorough itinerary in advance, had two awesome locals guiding us through the country, visited the most amazing spots, and had several intimate cultural experiences, for example, having lunch with the Nomadic Berber people in their home. I highly recommend to all considering - all you have to do is show up and be ready for awe and wonder.
I also want to mention - MedTreks seems to attract really amazing individuals for their trips - it was so fun getting to know each person in our group which made the experience that much better. Having previously taken group trips, this community felt especially connected and I only have positive things to say about the experience!! I think everyone drawn to MedTreks has a heart for adventure, life-long learning, and meaningful connection.
MedTreks has an unbelievable depth of knowledge having run tours worldwide for some 40 years now - I was blown away in conversation with Ari and with other travelers who have been on a trip with them in past. To hear about the trip planning and seriously INCREDIBLE experiences they coordinate inspires me to do all my travels with them!! Learning more about the positive impact of the trips on local cultures and the MedTreks foundation in Kenya is also so cool. It feels like this company is a hidden gem putting together once in a lifetime moments for people.
