Amber Cove, Dominican Republic

The Amber Cove Cruise Center is still pretty new—and it’s a pretty big deal, to boot. When it opened along the Dominican Republic’s northern “Amber Coast,” it re-opened the area for cruise ships to visit. (The last ship to call at nearby Puerto Plata was almost thirty years ago.) Your ship will sail into the Bay of Maimon, a short distance to the north-west from Puerto Plata.

Grand Turk

Grand Turk is truly paradise on a stick! If you close your eyes and picture paradise that is exactly how Grand Turk looks! The moment your cruise ship pulls into port you are met with gorgeous white sand beaches, turquoise water and so much more! Barely a few minute walk from the ship is an amazing white sand beach, lawn chairs and gorgeous water waiting for you! Grab a chair, drop your towel and head for the water it is so fantastic! The water in Grand Turk feels like bath water. It is so warm and inviting.

As a commitment to our brand, and in order to keep yourself and your fellow travelers safe, we ask that ALL Art N Soul Escapes travelers submit a negative Covid-19 test within 2-3 days of departure (regardless if required by the destination). We also require that all travelers wear a mask when traveling in groups with one another, or as requested by our suppliers. Until further notice, we will continue to operate vaccinated cruises with our enhanced protocols. All our operations will follow these guidelines so we can maintain the confidence of the destinations we visit and deliver on our itineraries and guest experience. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will adjust our protocols based on the advice of our medical and public health advisors.

Fully Vaccinated Guests (UPDATED 04/07/22)

Vaccinated cruises are available for guests who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the sailing day (not counting embarkation day) and have proof of vaccination.

Additionally, the CDC has strongly recommended that individuals obtain a COVID-19 booster vaccination, when eligible. Should the CDC definition of fully vaccinated evolve to require the booster shot, our policy will adapt accordingly. Consequently, we also strongly encourage all guests who are eligible to get their booster vaccine. It is also always possible that certain destinations could define a fully vaccinated guest as one who is current with a booster shot, and boosters may be required for specific voyages based on duration. Please review the updated CDC recommendations on the CDC’s website  and our COVID-19 FAQs for information on which sailings require boosters.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests who are up to date with their vaccines may take their test within three days prior to sailing. Up to date means a person has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including any booster dose, when eligible. If a guest is fully vaccinated but not up to date with their vaccines (i.e., is eligible for a booster but has not received one), they must take their pre-cruise COVID-19 test within two days prior to sailing.

All roommates paying their own deposit must submit their deposit within 24 hours of one another in order to be secured on the same reservation.   

One person will be named the primary client on the booking but all guests sharing the same registration will be equally responsible for paying the balance. One person can be the primary payee, however, you will need to indicate in the notes to your agent how payments are to be allocated. 

Due to the 2019-2022 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Art N Soul Escapes is taking extra precautions with the care of every client to include health history review and enhanced social distancing procedures in compliance with CDC guidance.
