This is not the traditional tour to Tanzania and Zanzibar, where the entire trip is devoted to  Safaris. The East African Duo focuses on the culture, the terrain, and the arts. Your tour will start in Dar es Salaam, and later, you will move on to Arusha, where you will get a taste of the safari experience and visit a Maasai community.   Later, you will fly to Zanzibar to learn about  Stone Town and the historical artifacts that reflect the Atlantic Slave Trade.  This group is tailored for a small group with minimal space.

 Today, we will be exploring the capital city of Ghana. We will embark on a city tour, visiting the W.E.B Du Bois Memorial Centre and Pan African Culture. Then, we will drive through Old Accra, also known as Jamestown, and visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum, the burial place of Ghana’s first president and the location of Ghana's Independence declaration. Our group will also visit the Black Star Gate, the second-largest independence square in the world. We will have the opportunity to experience Ghana’s rich history and learn about the events leading to the country's independence in celebration of the prominent Ghanaian President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.  After the tour, lunch will be provided, and we will have the chance to enjoy shopping from local artisans at the Arts Centre, followed by a fun and interactive drumming session. \

 Experience the vibrant culture of Ghana in a single day! Participate in a hands-on batik-making session to create your fabric adorned with traditional Ghanaian symbols. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of Ghanaian culture with a lively dance lesson and local language introduction.
