From 8 to 5 

City tour Cuenca, starting at your hotel with a nice walk towards Pumapungo (not available on Mondays), and learning about the Inca-Cañari ruins of the northern capital of the Inca Empire (around 1400 aC).

Then we walk along the Tomebamba River towards downtown where we will talk about the Republican Hanging Houses and the Colonial Churches and plazas.

We will see the two Cathedrals of the city and will take a picture from the top of the New Cathedral of Santa Ana.

Then we will walk towards San Sebastián Plaza where we will make a stop to admire the Republican Houses and the Museum of Modern Arte (a Republican building from 1878, that was at it time the first alcoholic recovery center of the city).

Our bus will pick us up here (or earlier, depending on the group) to take us to Turi, where we will enjoy a magnificent view of the red city of Ecuador, named by the cañaris Guapondelig (Valley as Big as the Sky).

Tour por la ciudad de Cuenca, comenzando en tu hotel con una agradable caminata hacia Pumapungo (no disponible los lunes), y aprendiendo sobre las ruinas Inca-Cañari de la capital norte del Imperio Inca (alrededor del 1400 a.C.).

Luego caminaremos a lo largo del río Tomebamba hacia el centro, donde hablaremos sobre las Casas Colgantes Republicanas y las iglesias y plazas coloniales.

Veremos las dos catedrales de la ciudad y tomaremos una foto desde la cima de la Nueva Catedral de Santa Ana.

Después caminaremos hacia la Plaza San Sebastián, donde haremos una parada para admirar las casas republicanas y el Museo de Arte Moderno (un edificio republicano de 1878, que en su momento fue el primer centro de recuperación de alcohólicos de la ciudad).

Nuestro autobús nos recogerá aquí (o antes, dependiendo del grupo) para llevarnos a Turi, donde disfrutaremos de una magnífica vista de la ciudad roja de Ecuador, llamada por los cañaris Guapondelig (Valle tan Grande como el Cielo).
