About this trip

We are all looking to create balance, ease and a sense of contentment within. Throughout this 3-day weekend retreat, Lauren will incorporate yoga philosophy, dharma, asana and meditation to shed light on the ways the yoga practice goes beyond the physical practice on the mat. Through discussion, journaling and 4 asana practices you will dive into what it means to "live your yoga" from the inside out.

This special weekend is meant to be expansive, inspiring and meaningful; an opportunity to deepen your practice while spending time out of the city to reconnect to yourself and your priorities. The retreat will take place at a beautiful French-style farmhouse located just 90 minutes from San Francisco.

Over the course of the weekend we will enjoy 4 yoga classes on the outdoor yoga deck overlooking the vineyards, garden and all-natural pond. Also included in the weekend is a group cooking class, farm-to-table meals prepared by a private chef and plenty of time to rest and relax on this majestic property.

This was my first yoga retreat and it was nothing short of life changing. I am still hanging on to what I learned about yoga on and off the mat, how my body and mind felt during that week, and the friendships I made. Lauren was incredible as she was so kind and welcoming, guiding and nurturing. I would absolutely take a retreat with Lauren again, hopefully soon.
Truly a life changing week. Lauren couldn't have been warmer and thus made the entire group feel welcomed and comfortable. By the end of the week I felt restored and more in tuned with myself than I have in a very long time. A rejuvenating vacation is nothing something I accustomed to! Every aspect of the week was thought through and planned such that we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff at Locando Cugnanello are incredible people and did everything to make the time special, not to mention how magical the property is! I can't thank Lauren enough for all the hard work and time she put into our week in Tuscany!

This trip was one of the best things I did for myself. It was a magical time that truly cannot be described, only experienced. There was nothing we lacked for during our stay which was a perfect setting to focus on oneself. And I don't know how Lauren does it, but she manages to have each practice designed for the group in a way that you only realize later that it was exactly what you needed.
I cannot recommend this retreat more strongly. Location: beautiful setting in the middle of the country. Perfect for relaxing in an active way. The pool is wonderful and the villa is a perfect combination of modern for convenience and old for charm. Bedrooms and bathrooms have everything you need. Linens are high quality. Food: fresh and amazing. 3 meals a day, buffet style, all from a local farm and customized based on guests' preferences and dietary restrictions. There is also a cappuccino machine, filtered still and sparkling water, and tea. Table wine is served at dinner. They do not skimp on anything. Yoga: Wonderful. Lauren is an intuitive teacher who leads her classes based on the students' needs and abilities. It felt active, but doing yoga twice a day was not too hard on the body.

Lauren is INCREDIBLE. The entire trip was absolutely magical - The villa was beautiful, the staff was amazing (especially Timo, the grounds pup), and food was fresh and so good. Lauren and her yoga classes were always spot on - she could just tell what the group needed when. We were given journal prompts, free time, pool time - essentially the mantra of the week was, take what resonates, leave what doesn't. Everything was perfect and I picture myself in the hills of Italy every day, wishing I was still there.
