Your tour Itinerary


Sept. 28: Depart to Dublin from Nashville or Newark, NJ (or any other city you choose)

Sept. 29: Arrive in Dublin this morning and meet our hosts and board our luxury coach, then go to Armagh to visit Navan Centre Fort, the burial site of King Brian Boru, plus a village where we’ll experience life as a Celt 2000 years ago. We also visit nearby Armagh Cathedral, then check in at the Armagh City Hotel. Our welcome dinner will be at the hotel followed by a special performance by the Armagh Pipers. (D) 

Sept. 30: After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll depart for Derry (or Londonderry) to tour this walled city, explore the Peace Bridge, followed by Food and Entertainment at Culturlann. Onward to our castle stay at Cabra Castle. We’ll have dinner in the castle, followed by a musical performance by The Cavan Musicians, including dancers. (B, D) 

Oct. 1: Depart the castle and travel to Belfast, Northern Ireland, Nashville’s Sister City. We will visit the incredible Titanic Experience, then take a city tour to see this vibrant city, the Murals that depict The Troubles from both sides, as well as the Peace Wall. We’ll have dinner together at The Wellington Park Hotel followed by a musical session. (B,D) 

Oct. 2: Breakfast is followed by a light walk around the nearby campus of historic Queens University, The Botanic Gardens and Ulster Museum. Then it’s our excursion to the Antrim Coast, with a photo stop along the way at Carrickfergus Castle. As we reach the coast, we’ll visit Dunluce Castle, historic Bushmills Distillery, outdoor filming locations for Game of Thrones and then the Giant’s Causeway, an amazing geological formation (thousands of hexagonal columns formed by volcanic activity) with an equally amazing tale of its creation. We return to Belfast and visit Dun Cairne Arts Centre, a musical refuge in a converted church. The rest of the evening is at your leisure for dinner and exploring. (B)   

Oct. 3: We depart Belfast and head to Dublin for a panoramic city tour as we travel to the Guinness Storehouse for lunch on your own and a self-guided tour, concluding with an included pint at the Gravity Bar high above Dublin. After the tour, we’ll check in at the 4-star Iveagh Garden Hotel, a luxury hotel overlooking lovely Iveagh Gardens and built in a row of the famous Georgian townhomes. The hotel has easy access to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street and Temple Bar. This evening is full of world-class Irish music and dance and dinner at historic Taylor's Three Rock. We’ll arrive at 6:30 for dinner, and we’’ll have a private meet and greet with some of the performers. (B,D)

Oct. 4: Today is at your leisure to explore Dublin, and we’ll be there with you to assist and will offer a walking tour to nearby Trinity College, Grafton Street, Stephens Green, Kildare Street, Government Buildings, National Gallery and more. Some places you may also want to visit include Old Jameson Distillery, the Epic Irish Emigration Museum, the Irish Whiskey Museum, and the Witness History GPO Museum. We’ll also offer a walking musical pub sessions trail. A concert for tonight will be included and announced once evening concerts in Dublin are announced. (B) 

Oct. 5: Today we travel to Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland. We’ll visit Avoca Handweavers in Kilmacanogue to experience their gift store, food hall, pottery and gardens, and have tea/coffee and scones if you wish. Then on to Enniskerry Village to see Powerscourt House and Gardens, followed by Glenadalough, the ancient monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin with some of Ireland’s most scenic walking trails to the two lakes. We’ll also see the Meeting of the Waters, Vale of Avoca and Avoca Village. We’ll return to Dublin around 4 p.m. for time to relax or explore. We’ll convene for a Farewell Dinner with a very special music session. (B,D) 

Oct. 6: Transfer to the airport this morning for flights home, arriving in the US later today. (B)
