My husband and I had a fantastic time visiting all of the highlights we wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from start to finish. Thanks to Evelyn who organized our vacation to our liking and to all involved, including our guide, Oswaldo and our driver. We were in good hands the entire time. Our accommodation was fantastic as well as the food. The way our vacation was put together allowed us to tolerate progressive increases in altitude until the final climbing of rainbow mountain toward the end of our stay. We learned so much about the culture, history, and the food, all while exploring such beautiful places. We stayed in both Ollantaytambo and Cusco which was fantastic. My only regret is not having more time to spend in Ollayantaytambo because it was such a fantastic little town! We travelled to Pisac, Chinchero, Macchu Picchu, and Rainbow mountain. All absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend Andean Adventures Peru!!!

Andean Adventures Peru is a great travel company. We received a recommendation for them from others who enjoyed their experience and decided to use them for adding on a 5 day trip to Machu Picchu. We were coming from Quito, Ecuador. They made all of our travel arrangements in and through Lima and Cusco and arranges for some awesome tours around Cusco, on our way to Machu Picchu and of course the highlight Machu Picchu itself. Our guide Ruben Ramirez was extremely cordial, knowledgeable, spoke very good English and truly made the experience even more memorable with his insights. Our driver Jesus we always felt safe with him at the wheel. We were stranded in Cusco for a few extra days due to the protest and Evelyn, who is the travel coordinator was assume in helping us with flights and additional hotel nights. Raul Medina the General Manager came to check on us while we were stranded and offered an additional city tour is possible and truly cared about our well being and getting us home. Can’t say enough nice things about this travel group and how they took care of us during our stay. The trip, the sights, the people were amazing. The cost - reasonable for all they included.

We stayed in both Casa Andina Plaza in Cusco and Casa Andina Aquas Calietnes. Casa Andina Plaza is conveniently located to the hub of Cusco. - the Plaza. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful no matte3r our request. The worms were clean, well cared for and simple, yet functional layouts. Some rooms are more spacious than others. In fact one or two rooms we saw were quite small, but overall they are comparable to other hotels. Casa Andina Aquas Calientes was also clean, well cared for and the staff very helpful. The rooms here maybe smaller than in Cusco, but still roomy enough. The hotel is at the end of the row of restaurants, so not as close to the train station. On the other hand you have easy access to many different restaurants and it is only a short walk to the center square.

We had a really great time on our trip for a family of 4 organised by Andean Adventures. The trip had two main parts, spending almost a week in the Andes visiting the incredible Incan ruins in Cusco and of course Machu Pichu and the other half in the Peruvian Amazon jungle in the amazing Manu National Park. Everything about the trip was excellent. It was incredibly well organised and the whole trip went without any hitches despite the complexities of so many transfers. A special thank you to Geuliana from Andean Adventures who was incredibly patient when organising the trip for us and made herself contactable to us during the trip so that when there was one minor confusion over a transfer this was resolved within minutes. The hotels on the trip were all very comfortable, welcoming and excellently located. The buffet breakfasts were great in all of them, the one at La Antigua Miraflores especially so. I've never know my children enjoy a hotel breakfast so much! The beds were superb in all of them and we made good use of the left luggage facilities when we knew we were coming back, meaning we could travel lighter for a few days such as when we took the train to Machu Picchu. In the cities, apart from breakfast most meals were sensibly left for us to sort out ourselves. This made a lot of sense as there is an amazing choice of great restaurants and cafes in Lima, Cusco and even Aguas Calientes, the gateway town for Machu Picchu. In the jungle all food was provided and all of us, even my quite fussy children were really impressed with the quality of the meals. Everything was so tasty and we all ate very well. All of the people who played a part in the trip (organisers, drivers, boat handlers, hotel staff, lodge staff, cultural guides, wildlife guides) were all extremely professional and courteous. Our cultural guide in the Andes, Ernesto, was so enthusiastic about Incan culture that he had no problem getting my two teenage children engrossed in the topic. Roger, our nature guide in Manu, was so knowledgable about all of the flora and fauna and we loved the way he was so determined that we should get to see as much as possible. Both these guides really made the trip. One thing I especially liked about both guides was that they really got a good balance between keeping you busy and giving you time to yourselves to contemplate what you'd just experienced. As for the trip itself, there are almost too many highlights to mention. The views at Machu Picchu. Seeing snow capped Andean mountains, cloud forest, rainforest and rushing river all in one single, amazing view. Staring in awe at the perfectly interconnecting stones of the Incan walls all around Cusco. Getting great close up views and photos of the dazzling Cock of the Rock in the cloudforest. Seeing not one but several tapirs just feet away from us in the jungle hide, leaving us in tears of happiness. The buzz of Miraflores in Lima. These are just a handful of the memories we have come way with. Peru is an amazing country with so much to experience. Far too many people in Europe are nervous about travelling to Peru but I would encourage anyone to put that aside and enjoy all that Peru has to offer on a trip like this with Andean Adventures. The trip was really excellent value, considerably cheaper than an equivalent trip arranged with a company in Europe. A true 5 star experience! Thanks again to all involved The Cox Family, London, UK
