Embark on a thrilling outdoor adventure that combines white-water rafting with zip-lining and satisfies your need for speed.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 a.m. After one and a half hours of driving, we will arrive at Cusipata River Lodge, our private campsite on the bank of the Urubamba River, where you can leave your luggage. Here you will enjoy hot showers, toilets, a relaxing sauna, and a comfortable dining area.
Our professional rafting guides (English- and Spanish-speaking) will provide you with all the proper rafting equipment such as a helmet, wet-suit, spray jacket, paddle, and self-bailing raft. After a comprehensive safety talk, we will drive 10 minutes more to the Chuqui river section, where we’ll take on exciting class III and IV rapids and battle intense waves as you make your way downstream, enjoying the remarkable scenery of the surrounding Andes as you go.
We’ll be in the river for about two hours, finishing our rafting adventure at Cusipata River Lodge, where a delicious lunch will be served and you can enjoy a relaxing sauna. Then soar through the sky on an exhilarating zip ride, which consists of two secure cables that cross the Urubamba River with a distance of 100 meters. This tour lets you fly through the air, taking in the beauty of the Andean mountains, the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the living culture of the Racchi community.
This zipline has four different cables that extend for a distance of 600 meters (or approximately 2,000 feet), the highest being 200 meters (or 700 feet) in the air.
After hours of thrilling adventure on the Cusipata River, you will relax on the drive back to Cuzco after an active day. You will be dropped off your original departure point.
