About this trip

Come and explore the majestic and ancient heartland of the Inkas, while learning to deepen your connection with nature and nurture yourself the Andean way.

This nine-day retreat will take place in Cusco, Peru between 16 and 24 October 2018. It will include a stay in the vibrant modern city and ancient capital of the Inkas, Cusco, and a 5-day retreat at the serene wellness guesthouse, Willka T’ika, in the Sacred Valley.

Cusco City Tour 16-18 October

The group will meet at Cusco City on the 16 October 2019 and will spend the first two nights at Tambo del Arriero, a renovated colonial building just located on the fringes of the historic zone of the city. Twin share rooms are part of the package. Single rooms can be booked upon request for an additional charge.

Sacred Valley Retreat 18-23 October

On the morning of the 18 October, the group will travel together to the Sacred Valley to the wellness guesthouse, Wilka T’ika.

Wilka T’ika Guesthouse is renown for its serene and lush chakra gardens, which feature medicinal flowers and plants. Its construction was inspired by the principles of Feng Shui. These gardens are open daily and are a beautiful place to meditate and rest. The resort is equipped with multipurpose/yoga studios and sun-heated baths. Wi-Fi is also available.

You will stay in Garden Rooms, which are twin or triple share. Single rooms can be booked upon request for an additional charge.

Transfers to and from this resort are included in the retreat package.

Return to Cusco 23-24 October

We will return to Cusco on the 23rd October and enjoy our final night together at Tambo de Arriero.

During your stay in Cusco, Lisa will take you on guided walking tours around the city. These will introduce you to the cultural history of the Inka. Included will be a visit to the most sacred shrine and temple of the Inka, Qorikancha.
