Our team will be awaiting your arrival at Mount Kilimanjaro International Airport and transport you to your hotel accommodation.

Local Maasai Village; Coffee Tour

Departure time:  10:00 am


Local Maasai Village
The Maasai Tribe is a nomadic tribe that resides in Kenya and throughout Northern Tanzania.  Their cattle and sheep are of high importance to them and a sign of wealth.  They can easily be identified by their bright garments.  The men are known for their high jumps.


You'll immerse, interact, dance, and sing with the Maasai tribe.  You'll also have an opportunity to buy traditional Maasai jewelry.


Coffee Tour

We will get things started with a coffee and banana tour by the Chagga tribe.  Tanzania is the 3rd largest producer of Arabica coffee in Africa.  You’ll be taught the entire process of making coffee.

Tarangire National Park is a jewel nestled in Tanzania's embrace.  Imagine the thrill as you stand amidst the rugged beauty of this untamed wilderness, where ancient baobabs cast their long shadows over golden grasslands. Experience the heart-stopping spectacle of massive elephant herds converging by the Tarangire River, trumpeting their presence in nature's grand symphony. Lions, the kings, and queens of the savannah, prowl through the tall grasses, while elusive leopards and cheetahs stalk their prey with a grace that leaves you breathless. We'll depart from the luxurious Gran Melia Arusha and head to the beautiful island of Zanzibar.  You will be greeted by our Zanzibar team upon arrival and go to the streets of the Historic Stone Town.


Historic Stone Town Tour

Learn about the rich history of Zanzibar and Stone Town, which dates back thousands of years.  They'll be tons of clothing and artwork for purchase.  The prices are not set, so bargaining is encouraged.


Arab Slave Trade

Learn about Zanzibar's dark past as the main trading post during the Arab Slave Trade.  


Organic Farm & Swahili Cooking Class

Today, you're in for a special treat.  Our amazing partners Mwatima and Asha, will welcome you to their organic farm, give you a lesson on the importance of being green and the benefits of living an organic life.  They will also teach you about Swahili cooking and you'll get to devour an amazing meal prepared by you!

Today is all about you and you deserve to relax and have the day to yourself.  Do as little or as much as you like.  You may book a spa treatment at your hotel or one of our exciting excursions below.
