We visited Quiabeno Tucan lodge on Dec. 2025 and had 5 great days there. We saw many animals, monkeys, sloth, anacondas, birds, insects and more. The rowing kayaks are free to use anytime.The lodge is nice and cofortable and food was good. Tucan team are highly into conservation and sustainability which was important for us.

Die Zeit in Cuyabeno und in der Tucan Lodge waren einzigartig für mich und kaum habe ich den Ort verlassen wollte ich schon zurückkehren! Alles war perfekt organisiert, die Anreise, die Unterkunft wunderschön, das Team einfach super freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie waren immer ansprechbar für alle Fragen und auch sehr flexibel. Ich bin Vegetarierin und vertrage keine Milch und wurde immer mit Alternativen versorgt , das Essen ist generell sehr lecker! Auch mein Guide Fernando war einfach klasse! Er hat keine Mühen gescheut uns die Tiere zu zeigen, die es im Amazonas zu sehen gibt. Es ist sehr beeindruckend wie gut sie die Tiere entdecken. Ich hab mich sehr wohl, sicher, willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt, dankeschön, es war eine wunderbare Zeit! Farina

This was truly the experience of a lifetime. To hike in the Amazon jungle... to swim in an Amazon river, to meet Amazon people. The up close nature experiences including anaconda, monkeys, spider, frogs, boas.... simply unbelievable. The staff were all incredible! The food and accommodations were great. The bus ride was a little rough as the road is rough.

We had a fabulous trip in Cuyabeno Tuscan lodge was very welcoming . The staff and food were great and we learned so much about the Amazon in Ecuador . Thank you

Absolutely amazing!!! I can't wait to go back. The guides are from the local communities and their expertise shows - they found us everything from caimans and anacondas to tucans and macaws. The lodge itself is in a beautiful setting, comfortable, and has a beautiful atmosphere. The staff take great cre of you, with refreshing drinks after trips, coffee/tea all day, amazing local food considering your preferences. I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough!
