Our cycling today will take place on Korčula Island. Korčala is the name  of the island and the biggest town on it. Korčula town is one of the  finest examples of gothic renaissance architecture on the Dalmatian  coast. Today we will cycle across Korčula island from West to East, from  Vela Luka to Korčula town or do a loop ride depending on your  preferences. Vela Luka is known for archeological research in the local  cave where a scientist found human bones more than 7000 years old.  Island is known for great white wines, made by authentic sort of the  grapes -Pošip- which became a synonym for the whole island.

Today you will explore the greenest island in  Croatia and its most famous part-National park Mljet. According to  legends, this is the place where Ulysses was captured by Calypso in  Greek mythology. True or not, it is the fact that most of the names on  the island are Greek origin, and there is even the Ulysses cave.  You will cycle across the island towards National park on the West part  of the island. National park Mljet is known for its lakes inside of the  island and a small island on the biggest lake- St. Marija island with a  Benedictine monastery on it from the 13th century. You will visit the  island and go for a short tour of the island. Swimming can take place on  one of the lakes in National park where the water temperature is  usually 2-3 degrees warmer than the open sea.

 Today you will start your cycling in Ston and go to Dubrovačko Primorje ( meaning.part of the land close to the sea).

 Route will take you along the cost  and the to the backroads and hinterland of the area. Your route will finish with descent toward the sea and great views of  Mali Ston bay to Bistrina bridge. BIstrina bridge is short cut over little Bay overlooking to Mali Ston.  Mali Ston means Little, and the sea area around it is known for growing  oysters and mussels since the Roman times. If you like the oysters and  mussels, this is it! This is the place to have them.                                                       

Todays cycling will take place on Pelješac peninsula. 

In Croatia, Pelješac is a  synonym for red wines, or as the local call it- black wine. Today we  will cycle through most famous wine region in Croatia- Dingač, known for  vineyards that grow on steep slopes, up to 70 degrees. This area is  unique and since 1964 is protected on the Geneva convention. 

Only the  wine from these vineyards can be called Dingač and nowhere else in  Croatia, or the World.  It would be a shame to not taste some of that  famous wine and that's why we will stop at one of local family owned  wineries for wine tasting. 

Our cycling will finish in charming village Žuljana where you can stop  for a swim on one of many small beaches that Žuljana is known for. For  those who would like to snorkel or scuba dive, this would be the place  since there are 2 diving clubs in this little place.                                                      

 Today you will be leaving Ston and Pelješac Peninsula and cycling  towards Dubrovnik. You will go to Dubrovnik hinterland again, and cycle  on old Napoleon road, enjoy the sea view and go through local villages  until lunch time. After lunch, we will go to our new accommodation and enjoy the rest of  the afternoon in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik- as Lord Byron said: The Pearl of  the Adriatic, UNESCO site with the biggest walls in Europe.   We suggest walking the city walls, the second biggest in the world. At  places, the wall is approximately 75 ft high, which makes it a great  sightseeing point to take photos of beautiful scenery.  We are sure you would like to explore the city and do not be afraid to  get lost in many stone streets, and if not tired, guided tour in the evening might take place to introduce  you to a rich history of this unique place!
