I had a great time scuba diving with ScubaIguana. The equipment they rent is top notch and well maintained. The boat is in excellent shape and made a comfortable trip to and from the dive sites. The crew help with the equipment both on and off the boat. The dive master on my 4 dives was Quike Moran. I highly recommend him as he was very good at  finding sea life, hidden gems and photography.  If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I had a 3-day diving experience with the team, it was great! Super nice, friendly, helpful and competent! My first dive was most likely one of the most difficult ones in the area, Gordon’s Rock. I was happy to be an experienced diver but also that the team made it so easy for us! They tend to „overweight“ people a bit but then with the need for ensuring a „safe“ safety stop and having also less experienced divers on board I do understand! Summary: if I ever come back, I go with Scuba Iguana again! Many many thanks for making my „bucket list“ wish come true in such a wonderful way!

Lisa at Scuba Iguana did a fantastic job putting together a wonderful dive trip with additional snorkeling and sightseeing trips so we could see as much of the islands as we had time for. Accommodations, transportation and people were great and the dive team was absolutely amazing - so friendly and helpful!

Galapagos Diving Trip for Mary Angela & Zachary

We booked one day of Scuba Diving from Scuba Iguana Galapagos and had a terrific day of diving in Floreana from their dive boat on 5 Feb 2024. Dive Master Sabestian and his assistant gave thorough pre-dive briefings, and we followed the plans for safe and excellent dive profiles.  Once underwater, Safestian was an excellent dive leader and pointed lots of interesting sea life including those that were highly camouflaged. The ScubaPro brand BCDs, regulators (primary, secondary, and octopus) were in good condition and easy to use while the 7mm full wet suits were well worn but certainly fit for use. Safestian and his dive boat crew did a great job of assisting all of the divers into their gear, over the side of the boat, and back onto the boat at the end of the dive, as well as providing a hot tea beverage and fruit between dives and a delicious hot lunch onboard after our second dive. I would absolutely recommend and dive again with Scuba Iguana Galapos.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit scuba iguana auf Galapagos .die Organisation war perfekt .Durch die  eine oder andere Programm Änderung, die situationsbedingt war , hat Lisa uns schnell Alternativen vorgeschlagen und neu organisiert!Wir konnten Lisa zu jeder Zeit  kontaktieren bei Fragen unsererseits .
Die Tauch- und Schorchelausflüge waren gut organisiert,die Crew und Naturführer freundlich und haben Wissensstand vermittelt.
Selbst in Quito, wo wir noch 3 Tage in Eigenregie blieben,hat uns Lisa mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden .Hier war gerade Ausnahmesituation  und Ausgangssperre ( Gefängnis Ausbruch eines Drogenbosses.)

Outstanding! Great staff, great dive sites and a very smooth day. Communication in the lead up to the dive was great and the actual pre dive shop experience was great. The dive site, guide and general feeling on the boat was one of calm, happy and grateful to be diving in such an incredible location. 2 dives with an abundance of hammerheads, white tip 60-80 and Galapagos sharks. The highlight during lunch that a pod of 100 dolphins came and joined us, we grabbed out goggles and jumped in. Another item on the bucket list ticked off!

Thank you so much for this diving experience!! Gabriella was one of the loveliest divemasters I've ever had on a charter, the boat snacks were spectacular, and the sites were beyond compare! The crew is so helpful, and I've never had a boat crew put on my gear for me so that was certainly an experience to remember! Seymour and Mosquera, the dive sites, both had more sharks than I had ever hoped to see, as well as schools of rays and beautiful lava structures!

Overall, this was an excellent trip. The dive and snorkel guides were great. Pickups and dropoffs were seamless and the hotel (Hotel Ikala) was quite nice. 

For the diving, the boat was well run and professional. We felt safe despite somewhat strong currents and low visibility. Our snorkel trip to Bartolome on the Sea Finch was excellent as well. I would definitely dive with Scuba Iguana again and recommend this company to others. 

One minor complaint is that I wish we had more time for snorkeling at Bartolome. Another minor complaint is that I wish we could have found a better dive site considering how poor the visibility was at Seymour channel. I understand that there are permits involved and maybe we had no other choice, and again this is only minor. 

Our only real issue had to do with my son getting sick the night before our first dive day. I called the  dive shop at 7:00 am and told them that he was sick and asked if we could skip diving that day and re-schedule for the next day. I was told that this was not a problem. Later when I went to the shop to check on things, I was told that the next day's dives were fully booked and that our money could not be refunded since we failed to show up for the dive. Ordinarily this would be reasonable, but if I had simply been told this when I called earlier, I would have gone on the dive solo rather than wasting the money for both dives (~$500). I hope in the future that anyone answering the phone who does not understand English, will say "I don't understand", instead of "No problem".

We wholeheartedly recommend Scuba Iguana!  It was my husband and my first time in the Galapagos, and prior to arrival, we booked one day of diving and one day of the bike/kayak tour.  The online reservation system was very easy, and Lisa was very responsive to our emails and answered any questions that we had.  When we arrived in Santa Cruz, the staff was warm and welcoming while fitting us for our scuba gear.  Our divemaster Gabby was amazing.  She was knowledgeable about the dive sites and made us feel completely safe during our dives.  Our bike/kayak tour guide was also great.  She was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna as we hiked through the Giant Tortoise reserve.  She always made sure that we were safe during the bike ride and kayak tour but also that we were having fun and learning about the Galapagos.  Thank you so much, Scuba Iguana!  We can't wait to come back and see you guys again!

Scuba Iguana and specifically Lisa was incredibly helpful in getting me all set up with the diving I wanted. She organized hotels, transportation, booked me into other dive shops when Scuba Iguana didn't have dives available. She got me a good rate on the Humboldt week long diving live aboard. The Humboldt ship wasn’t ready after drydock repairs so we spent 24 hours on a nicer boat then transferred to the Humboldt before it was really ready as it still stank of epoxy and paint. Excellent team on board but we were all pretty dissatisfied with the state of our boat. Scuba Iguana was the best of the three day dive operators I had sed. Highly recommend them!

Absolutely amazing.  Scuba Iguana did an incredible job helping coordinate our dive sites and accommodations across two different Galapagos islands.  Our dive master, Gabby, was perhaps the BEST I've ever had!  And I have almost 300 dives now.  The Galapagos diving was incredible, but it was Scuba Iguana who helped it be so great!  Scuba Iguana would assist us in every way imaginable to get ready for our dives - from clear explanations to helping put on BCDs, fins, etc.  Our accommodations were comfortable with nicely working AC's and a great view.  Thanks to Lisa at Scuba Iguana for the amazing work she did to set this all up for us (group of 4) and answer a variety of questions along the way - and even during the trip.  Thanks, Lisa, and Scuba Iguana!!!  We are already talking about when we can all come back to the Galapagos together down the road!

Scuba Iguana did a great job on the tour! My guide handled some unique situations well including one person who decided ascend without telling anyone. I also appreciated that we got fitted the day before. I would have appreciated a bit more of a skills refresher before we just dove in, especially a weight check given how salty it is. The food was good!

From the booking through the whole experience, I was supported and looked after. I always had someone helping me if I needed it. The Galapagos is amazing and the nature guides were superb. Now, for the diving! What a great adventure. Jose, dive master and Carlos, sailor were beyond awesome. That was Wreck Bay/ San Cristobel. I liked these two dive days especially because there were less divers and it felt real home town. And I have a special diet which they catered to and was delicious. The next two days diving off Santa Cruz were equally fulfilling. Cinderella treatment! The accommodations were amazing. I loved every single moment of the experience. I had an amazing time on this trip. Lisa was absolutely amazing and very communicative in preparation for the trip. She answered all of my questions and was available to help me with anything I needed. She arranged everything for me including all my scuba diving, excursions, and transfer to and from the airport to my hotel.

The highland tour that she arranged after the airport pickup was one of the highlights of my trip. Fernando was definitely the best tour guide I've ever had. It was like being on a private tour with Steve Irwin -- he was so knowledgeable about the islands' animals, plants, history, etc. I learned so much and had a great time.

And the scuba diving was amazing! I saw everything I was hoping to see and the dive boat crew was wonderful.

We would recommend scuba iguana to anyone trying to dive in the Galapagos! We had two beautiful days of diving with Scuba Iguana. The whole crew was helpful and fun and managed full dive boats of varying skill levels. The guides asked what we hoped to see and pointed out everything along the dive. They even shared photos after. The first accomodation was surely the best: Jeans Home with Gundi, a senior lady, born in Galapagos. She knows a lot about the region and she can speak German.
